Description
われわれの発明は産業内での開発を可能とし、そしてそれが飛行機及び目覚まし時計モードでの無線電話機を提供するために望まれる時は何時でも、製造されそして使用されることが可能である。互いに引き離されそしてばらばらにされている、この中に示された装置及び方法の個別の要素は、われわれがわれわれの発明としてクレームするところのそれらの組み合わせであるが、完全に従前のものであってもよい。
Claims (5)
- 無線通信デバイス(WCD)であって、
信号を送信し受信するためのトランシーバと、
前記送信および受信された信号を処理するためのモデムと、
前記モデムを制御するためのプロセッサと、
前記プロセッサに接続され、カウントダウン信号を提供するためのカウンタと、
前記WCDに電力を供給するための電力供給源と、
前記電力供給源に接続され、前記モデムおよび前記トランシーバに電力を選択的に供給するための第1のスイッチと、ここで、前記プロセッサは、前記モデムおよび前記トランシーバに電力を選択的に供給するために前記第1のスイッチを制御する、
前記電力供給源に接続され、前記カウントダウン信号に基づいて前記プロセッサに電力を選択的に供給するための第2のスイッチと、
を備え、前記カウンタは、前記プロセッサに電力を選択的に供給するために前記第2のスイッチを制御し、前記プロセッサは、ユーザ入力に基づいて前記カウントダウン信号を生成するために前記カウンタを設定し、前記第2のスイッチは、前記カウントダウン信号に基づいて前記プロセッサに前記電力供給源を接続し、前記プロセッサは、前記電力供給源に接続される場合にクロックカレンダを更新し、前記クロックカレンダを更新することは、前記プロセッサがクロックカレンダからユーザが目覚めるべき時刻であるかを決定し、前記プロセッサがユーザが目覚めるべき時刻であると決定したとき、前記トランシーバおよび無線モデムに電力を供給させることである、
無線通信デバイス。 - 前記プロセッサは、ユーザ入力に基づいて前記第1のスイッチを通じて前記モデムおよび前記トランシーバに前記電力供給源を接続する、
請求項1に記載の無線通信デバイス。 - 前記電力供給源が前記モデムおよび前記トランシーバに接続されていない場合に、前記プロセッサは、機能を連続的に実行する、
請求項2に記載の無線通信デバイス。 - 前記第2のスイッチは、ユーザ入力に基づいて前記プロセッサから前記電力供給源を切り離す、
請求項1に記載の無線通信デバイス。 - 前記第2のスイッチは、別のユーザ入力に基づいて前記プロセッサに前記電力供給源を接続する、
