Description
例えば、芳香族ジカルボン酸の低級アルキルエステルとグリコールとの間でエステル交換反応をさせるか、あるいは芳香族ジカルボン酸とグリコールとを直接エステル化させるかして、実質的に芳香族ジカルボン酸のビスグリコールエステル、またはその低重合体を形成させ、次いでこれを減圧下、加熱して重縮合させる方法が採用される。その目的に応じ、脂肪族ジカルボン酸を共重合しても構わない。
各種プロピレン系共重合体および変性プロピレン系重合体を用いることができ、また、反応性基を有するプロピレン系重合体であっても、反応性基を有さないプロピレン系重合体であってもよい。
エチレン−プロピレン共重合体、プロピレン−ブテン共重合体、エチレン−プロピレン−ブテン共重合体、プロピレン−ヘキセン共重合体、塩素化ポリプロピレン、塩素化エチレン−プロピレン共重合体、塩素化プロピレン−ブテン共重合体などである。
水分散性ポリイソシアネートを構成するポリイソシアネートとしては、例えば、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、トリメチルヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、テトラメチレンジイソシアネート、ペンタメチレンジイソシアネート、リジンジイソシアネート、ダイマー酸ジイソシアネート等の脂肪族イソシアネート;トリレンジイソシアネート、キシリレンジイソシアネート、ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、テトラメチルキシリレンジイソシアネート、1,5−ナフタレンジイソシアネート、1,4−ナフタレンジイソシアネート、4,4’−トルイジンジイソシアネート、4,4’−ジフェニルエーテルイソシアネート、(m−もしくはp−)フェニレンジイソシアネート、4,4’−ビフェニレンジイソシアネート、3,3’−ビフェニレンジイソシアネート、ビス(4−イソシアナトフェニル)スルホン、イソプロピリデンビス(4−フェニルイソシアネート)等の芳香族ポリイソシアネート;水添キシリレンジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネート、4,4’−メチレンビス(シクロヘキシルイソシアネート)、メチルシクロヘキサン−2,4−(または−2,6−)ジイソシアネート、1,3−(または1,4−)ジ(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,4−シクロヘキサンジイソシアネート、1,3−シクロペンタンジイソシアネート、1,2−シクロヘキサンジイソシアネート等の脂環族ジイソシアネート化合物が挙げられる。かかるポリイソシアネート化合物としては、イソシアヌレート構造、ウレタン構造、ビウレット構造、アロファネート構造、ウレトジオン構造、三量体構造等を有するポリイソシアネート化合物を用いることもできる。イソシアネート基を活性水素基でブロックしたいわゆるブロックイソシアネートを使用してもよい。
接着性の評価のため、下記条件でヒートシールサンプルを作成した。
ポリエステルフィルムの塗布層面と、ホモPPの無延伸フィルム(厚さ60μm、融点=168℃、メルトフローレート=15g/10min)を重ね合わせ、重ね合わせたポリオレフィン上に未処理のポリエステルフィルムを重ねる。重ね合わせたサンプルをヒートシール温度160℃、プレス圧力5kg/cm2の条件で2分間プレスしヒートシール幅、1.5cmの評価用サンプルを作成した。その後ポリエステルの塗布層面とホモPPの無延伸フィルムの接着界面を両手でゆっくり裂くようにして接着性を評価した。判定基準は以下のとおりである。
◎:強く密着しており剥がそうとするとフィルムが破断する
○:ヒートシール部分を少し剥がせるが、すぐ破断
△:手で剥離可能であるが強めに密着
×:簡単に手剥離できる
××:密着しない
ハロゲンライトを使用し、塗布外観を○,○△,△,△×,×の5段階で目視にて判定した。
○:塗布外観良好
○△:塗布面の一部にうっすらとムラが見える。
△:塗布面全面にうっすらムラが見える
△×:塗布面全面にムラが見える。
×:塗布面全面にムラがはっきり見える。
(ポリエステル1):実質的に粒子を含有しない、極限粘度0.66のポリエチレンテレフタレート
(ポリエステル2):平均粒径2.5μmの非晶質シリカを0.6重量部含有する、極限粘度0.66のポリエチレンテレフタレート
また、塗布組成物としては以下を用いた。ただし、文中「部」とあるのは、樹脂固形分での重量比を表す。
(O2):ポリプロピレン構造を有するポリマーをポリエチレンオキサイドで変性したポリオレフィンであり、既知の方法により、O1と同様の方法で得た化合物(300部)とメトキシポリ(オキシエチレン/オキシプロピレン)−2−プロピルアミン(分子量=1000)(75部)をトルエン中で加熱して反応させて得た変性ポリオレフィンの濃度28%の水分散体。
(C2):エポキシ基含有架橋剤:EX−521(ナガセ化成)
(C3):イソシアネート系架橋剤:BWD102(日本ポリウレタン)
(C4):カルボジイミド基含有架橋剤:E02(日清紡)
ポリエステル1とポリエステル2とを重量比で95/5でブレンドし、十分に乾燥した後、280〜300℃に加熱溶融し、T字型口金よりシート状に押し出し、静電密着法を用いて表面温度40〜50℃の鏡面冷却ドラムに密着させながら冷却固化させて、未延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムを作成した。このフィルムを85℃の加熱ロール群を通過させながら長手方向に3.7倍延伸し、一軸配向フィルムとした。この一軸配向フィルムの片面に、表1に示すとおりの塗布組成物を塗布した。次いでこのフィルムをテンター延伸機に導き、その熱を利用して塗布組成物の乾燥を行いつつ、100℃で幅方向に4.0倍延伸し、さらに230℃で熱処理を施し、フィルム厚みが38 μmの二軸配向ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムの上にポリプロピレン構造を有するポリマーにポリエチレンオキサイドがグラフトされたポリオレフィン(O2)と、オキサゾリン基を有する架橋剤を(C1)表1に記載のとおりに含有する0.02g/m2の塗布層を設けた塗布フィルムを得た。架橋剤の添加量およびフィルム特性について下記表1および2に示す。
実施例1と同様の工程において、基材フィルムの上に、ポリプロピレン構造を有するポリマーにポリエチレンオキサイドがグラフトされたポリオレフィン(O2)とオキサゾリン基を有する架橋剤(C1)を表1に記載のとおりに含有する0.005g/m2の塗布層を設けた塗布フィルムを得た。このフィルムの架橋剤添加量および特性について、表1および2に示す。
実施例1と同様の工程において、基材フィルムの上に、ポリプロピレン構造を有するポリマーにポリエチレンオキサイドがグラフトされたポリオレフィン(O2)と、オキサゾリン基含有架橋剤(C1)、エポキシ基含有架橋剤(C2)を併用した塗布層を表1に記載のとおりに設けた塗布フィルムを得た。オレフィン/オキサゾリン/エポキシ=60/24/10の重量比で膜厚を表1に示すように変更した。実施例18〜19、比較例1では膜厚が厚いため塗布ムラが目立ち外観にやや劣る結果であった。その他のフィルム特性について表1および2に示す。
実施例1と同様の工程において、基材フィルムの上にポリプロピレン構造を有するポリマーにポリエチレンオキサイドがグラフトされたポリオレフィン(O2)とイソシアネート基を有する架橋剤(C3)を表1に記載のとおりに含有する0.015g/m2の塗布層を設けた塗布フィルムを得た。架橋剤の添加量、フィルム特性について表1および2に示す。
実施例1と同様の工程において、基材フィルムの上に、ポリプロピレン構造を有するポリマーにポリエチレンオキサイドがグラフトされたポリオレフィン(O2)とカルボジイミド基を有する架橋剤(C4)を表1の記載のとおりに含有する0.015g/m2の塗布層を設けた塗布フィルムを得た。架橋剤の添加量、フィルム特性ついては表1および2に示す。
実施例1と同様の工程において、基材フィルム上に架橋剤を含有しない、ポリプロピレン構造を有するポリマーにポリエチレンオキサイドがグラフトされたポリオレフィン(O2)のみを含有する0.02g/m2の塗布層を設けた塗布フィルムを得た。実施例1〜24に記載のとおり、各種架橋剤と併用したサンプルでは密着性が良好な結果となっていたが、架橋剤を含まない塗布層では接着性が得られない結果となった。
実施例1と同様の工程において、基材フィルム上にオレフィンを含有しない、架橋剤(C)のみの塗布層0.02g/m2を設けた塗布フィルムを得た。架橋剤のみではPPとの接着性に優れる塗布層を得られなかった。
実施例1と同様の工程において、ポリプロピレン構造を有するポリマーであり、ポリエチレンオキサイドがグラフトされないポリオレフィン(O1)を使用し、オキサゾリン基含有架橋剤(C1)、イソシアネート基含有架橋剤(C2)、カルボジイミド基含有架橋剤(C3)の中から選ばれる1種の架橋剤を表1のとおりに含有する塗布層を設けた塗布フィルムを得た。これらの塗布層はポリエチレンオキサイドがグラフトされないポリオレフィンを使用したため、密着性に不十分な結果となった。
Claims (1)
- 塗布層を有するポリエステルフィルムであって、当該塗布層は、プロピレン系重合体と親水性高分子とからなる共重合ポリオレフィンと、1種以上の架橋剤とを含有する塗布組成物を塗布厚み0.08g/m 2 以下で塗布してなることを特徴とする積層ポリエステルフィルム。
