Claims (5)
- 0.11質量%以上0.15質量%以下の炭素と、0.1質量%以上0.25質量%以下の珪素と、0.15質量%以上0.35質量%以下のマンガンと、3.2質量%以上3.6質量%以下のニッケルと、4質量%以上4.25質量%以下のクロムと、4質量%以上4.5質量%以下のモリブデンと、1.13質量%以上1.33質量%以下のバナジウムとを含有し、残部鉄および不純物からなる鋼から構成され、機械部品の概略形状に成形された鋼部材を準備する工程と、
前記鋼部材の焼入処理および窒化処理を含む熱処理を行なう工程と、
前記熱処理を行う工程が実施された前記鋼部材に対して仕上げ加工が施される仕上げ工程とを備え、
前記熱処理を行う工程は、前記鋼部材を浸炭処理する工程と、浸炭処理された前記鋼部材を焼入硬化する工程と、焼入硬化された前記鋼部材をプラズマ窒化する工程と、プラズマ窒化された前記鋼部材を300℃以上480℃以下の温度である拡散温度に保持する工程とを有する、機械部品の製造方法。 - 前記拡散温度は、430℃以下である、請求項1に記載の機械部品の製造方法。
- 前記仕上げ工程が完了した前記鋼部材の表面に垂直な断面で切断し、前記断面を顕微鏡にて観察した場合、アスペクト比2以上、長さ7.5μm以上の鉄の窒化物の数が、前記表面を含む1辺150μmの正方形領域5視野内に1個以下である、請求項1または2に記載の機械部品の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の機械部品の製造方法により製造された、機械部品。
- 軸受を構成する部品として用いられる、請求項4に記載の機械部品。
