Description
(a)約1×104〜約5×105の範囲の重量平均分子量を有する第一のポリエチレン樹脂、および
(b)7質量%以下の第二のポリエチレン樹脂であって、1×106以上の重量平均分子量を有するもの
を含んでおり、質量パーセントは樹脂(a)および(b)の合計質量基準である。
測定装置:Waters社から入手可能なGPC−150C、
カラム:昭和電工社から入手可能なShodex UT806M、
カラム温度:135℃、
溶媒(移動相):o−ジクロロベンゼン、
溶媒流量:1.0ml/分、
サンプル濃度:0.1重量%(135℃で1時間溶解されたもの)、
注入量:500μl、
検出器:Waters社から入手可能な示差屈折形、および
検量線:単分散の標準ポリスチレンサンプルの検量線から所定の換算定数を用いて作成された。

Claims (9)
- (a)1×104〜5×105の重量平均分子量を有する第一のポリエチレン、および
(b)前記(a)および(b)の合計質量基準で5質量%以下の、5×105より大きい重量平均分子量を有する第二のポリエチレン
を含んでいるポリエチレンを含んでいる微多孔膜であって、100nm〜1,000nmの細孔サイズの範囲にわたる曲線の下の面積が、10nm〜1000nmの細孔サイズの範囲にわたる曲線の下の総面積の25%以上である微分細孔容積曲線を有し、3×10 2 nm以上の表面粗さを有する微多孔膜。 - ポリプロピレンをさらに含んでいる、請求項1に記載された微多孔膜。
- ポリプロピレンを微多孔膜の質量基準で5質量%〜25質量%含んでいる、請求項2に記載された微多孔膜。
- ポリプロピレンが3×105〜1.5×106の重量平均分子量を有する、請求項2または3に記載された微多孔膜。
- ポリプロピレンが、以下の
(i) 80J/g以上の融解熱、
(ii) 1〜100の分子量分布、
(iii) アイソタクチックの立体規則性、
(iv) 少なくとも160℃の融解ピーク(第二回目の融解)、
(v) 230℃の温度で測定されたときに15以上のトルートン比、または
(vi) 230℃の温度および25秒−1のひずみ速度において50,000Pa・秒以上の伸長粘度
のうちの1以上によって特性付けられてなる、請求項2〜4のいずれか1項に記載された微多孔膜。 - 単一層からなる請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載された微多孔膜。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載された微多孔膜の製造方法であって、
(1)(a)希釈剤、および
(b)(i)1×104〜5×105の重量平均分子量を有する第一のポリエチレンと、
(ii)5質量%以下の、5×105より大きい重量平均分子量を有する第二のポリエチレンと
を含んでおり、該質量パーセントが微多孔膜の質量基準であるポリエチレン
を一緒にして、ポリオレフィン溶液中のポリオレフィン組成物の濃度が該ポリオレフィン溶液の質量基準で40質量%〜50質量%である該ポリオレフィン溶液を形成する段階、
(2)該ポリオレフィン溶液をダイを通して押出して、押出成形物を形成する段階、
(3)該押出成形物を冷却して、冷却された押出成形物を形成する段階、
(4)該冷却された押出成形物の総ポリエチレンのTcd〜該Tcd+30℃の延伸温度において、該冷却された押出成形物を少なくとも1軸方向に延伸して、延伸されたシートを形成する段階、
(5)該延伸されたシートから該希釈剤の少なくとも一部を除いて、膜を形成する段階、
(6)該膜を少なくとも1軸方向に1.4〜1.8倍の倍率まで延伸して、延伸された膜を形成する段階、および
(7)該延伸された膜を熱固定して、微多孔膜を形成する段階
を含む製造方法。 - 負極、正極、該負極および該正極と接触している電解質、ならびに該負極と該正極との間に置かれた少なくとも1のセパレータを含んでいる電池であって、該セパレータが請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載された微多孔膜を含んでいる電池。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載された微多孔膜を含んでいる第一の層、および少なくとも1の第二の層を有する、多層微多孔膜。
