Claims (4)
- 自車前方の配光領域を分割した複数の分割領域をそれぞれ独立して照射可能な車両用前照灯と、
少なくとも1つの分割領域に対して光の照射と非照射を交互に繰り返すよう前記車両用前照灯を制御する照射制御手段と、
前記少なくとも1つの分割領域の照射時と非照射時とにそれぞれ自車前方を撮像し、照射時画像と非照射時画像とを生成する撮像手段と、
前記照射時画像および前記非照射時画像中の高輝度部を検出し、両画像間で高輝度部の存否を比較することで車両前方に存在する発光物体と反射物体とを区別して検出する検出手段と、
を備え、
前記照射制御手段は、所定の光度以上の光が照射される分割領域に対して光の照射と非照射を交互に繰り返し、それ以外の分割領域に対しては連続して光が照射されるよう前記車両用前照灯を制御することを特徴とする車両用前照灯システム。 - 前記検出手段は、前記非照射時画像中に存在する高輝度部を発光物体と判定し、前記照射時画像中に存在するが前記非照射時画像には存在しない高輝度部を反射物体と判定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯システム。
- 前記検出手段は、前記非照射時画像に基づいて前記発光物体が前方車であるか否か判定し、
前記照射制御手段は、前記検出手段により前記発光物体が前方車と判定された場合、前記少なくとも1つの分割領域への光の照射時間の比率が低下するよう前記車両用前照灯を制御することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用前照灯システム。 - 前記検出手段は、前記照射時画像に基づいて光の照射を抑制すべき照射抑制物体を検出し、
前記照射制御手段は、前記検出手段により前記照射抑制物体が検出された場合、前記少なくとも1つの分割領域への光の照射時間の比率が低下するよう前記車両用前照灯を制御することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の車両用前照灯システム。
