Description
この場合は、一般的な縫製ミシンが備えている送り歯と送り歯駆動機構とからなる周知の間欠移送装置として既に確立している製造技術及び組付け技術をそのまま有効に活用することが可能であり、高周波ミシン向けの専用且つ特殊な間欠移送装置を開発したり、製造したり、それを組付けるためにミシンベッド部を縫製ミシンのものとは大幅に変更したりするといった設計面、生産面での負担が非常に少なくてすみ、高周波ミシン全体の生産性の向上及び生産コストの低減が図れると共に、性能、品質の高い高周波ミシンを得ることができる。
この場合は、生地載置板及び間欠移送装置における被加工材の下面への当接部又は送り歯の構造強度を十分に確保できるとともに、耐摩耗性、耐食性、電気絶縁性及び耐熱性にも優れ、高周波電力が印加される条件下で使用される各部品の耐久性向上を図ることができる。
この場合は、間欠移送装置による送り停止時において上下一対の電極を予熱により所定の温度に保持することが可能であるため、電極に印加する高周波電力の値をできるだけ低く設定してスパークの発生をより確実に防止しつつも、樹脂テープの溶融を確実化して所定の接着強度を安定よく得ることができる。
この場合は、押え金(上部電極)の重量増加をできるだけ小さく抑えて被加工材の移送作用を円滑に、かつ、曲線移送のための操作を容易に行なえるようにしつつ、予熱用ヒーターの熱を熱伝導性部材を介して押え金に効率よく伝達することができ、電極の予熱効果によるスパークの発生防止及び安定よい接着強度を確保することができる。
前者のように、外郭が筒形状に形成されている、いわゆる、筒形ベッドを持つミシンに適用する場合は、例えば袖口や首回り等の比較的小さい筒状部位を接着する時の被加工材の取り扱いが非常に便利である。また、後者のように、ベッド面全体が長方形の平面をなす形状に形成されている、いわゆる、フラットベッド形ミシンに適用する場合は、大きくて扱いにくい被加工材を接着する時、被加工材を大きな面積のフラットなベッド面に安定よく支持させて所定の接着を確実に行うことができる。
図1は本発明に係る高周波ミシンの一実施形態を示す全体の外観斜視図、図2は同ミシンにおける要部の拡大斜視図、図3は同ミシンにおける要部の拡大縦断側面図である。これら図1〜図3において、1はミシン本体であり、このミシン本体1は、ミシンアーム部2とミシンベッド部3とにより構成されている。
上記の送り歯8(前送り歯8A及び後送り歯8B)と送り歯駆動機構とにより、被加工材Hを加工進行方向Xへ移送する状態と移送を停止する状態とを交互に繰り返す間欠移送装置が構成されている。
また、前送り歯8A及び後送り歯8Bの構成材料としても、ポリエーテル・エーテル・ケトン樹脂からなるスーパーエンジニアリングプラスチックを用いることが好ましい。この場合は、前送り歯8A及び後送り歯8Bの耐熱性、耐摩耗性を一層向上することができる。
なお、押え杆13の昇降移動用駆動機構は、一般的な縫製ミシンに採用されているものと全く同様な構成を有し、周知であるため、その駆動機構の具体的な構成の説明は省略する。
なお、前記上部マイナス電極12及び下部プラス電極16の予熱温度を一定にフィードバック制御するために、予熱用カートリッジヒーター保持台24の側面及び下部プラス電極16の側面にはそれぞれ熱(温度)センサ30及び31が取り付けられている。

Claims (6)
- ミシンベッド部の上壁部に取り付けられて繊維生地の重ね合わせ部間に熱可塑性樹脂テープを挟み込んだ被加工材を摺接移動可能に載置する生地載置板と、この生地載置板の下部のミシンベッド部内に配置され且つ生地載置板上に載置された被加工材の下面に当接して該被加工材を水平面に沿って特定の加工進行方向へ移送する状態と被加工材の下面から離間して該被加工材の移送を停止する状態とを交互に繰り返す間欠移送装置と、前記生地載置板の上部に配置され、前記間欠移送装置と協同して被加工材を前記加工進行方向へ移送するとともに移送停止時に被加工材を弾性的に押えるべく上下に往復移動可能な押え金と、この押え金により兼用されて上下に往復移動可能に構成され、前記間欠移送装置による送り作用幅以上の幅を持つ電極面を有する上部電極及び前記生地載置板の下部のミシンベッド部内に設置固定されて前記生地載置板の上面と面一で前記上部電極の電極面に対向する電極面を有する下部電極とを備え、
前記間欠移送装置は、前記載置板に形成されたスロット状長孔内に配置される送り歯と、該送り歯を前記スロット状長孔内で上下方向及び水平方向に合成循環運動させる送り歯駆動機構とにより構成され、
前記間欠移送装置による移送停止時において前記上部電極を下方に移動させて該上部電極と下部電極との電極面間に被加工材を挟んだ状態で、上下一対の電極間に高周波電力を印加することによって、前記熱可塑性樹脂テープを高周波誘電加熱により溶融して繊維生地の重ね合わせ部を連続的に接着可能に構成していることを特徴とする高周波ミシン。 - 前記生地載置板及び間欠移送手段における被加工材の下面への送り歯が、エンジニアリングプラスチックを含む電気絶縁性及び耐熱性材料から構成されている請求項1に記載の高周波ミシン。
- 前記上下一対の電極にはそれぞれ、予熱用ヒーターが付設されている請求項1又は2に記載の高周波ミシン。
- 前記上部電極を兼用する押え金と、当該押え金を予熱する予熱用ヒーターを保持しミシン本体に固定状態に取り付けられるヒーター保持台との間には、両者を上下に相対摺動可能に繋ぐ熱伝導性部材が介在されている請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の高周波ミシン。
- 前記ミシンベッド部は、加工進行方向に直交する方向から視たとき、その外郭が筒形状に形成されている請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の高周波ミシン。
- 前記ミシンベッド部は、前記生地載置板を含めてベッド面全体が長方形の平面をなす形状に形成されている請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の高周波ミシン。
