Description
図1(a),(b)には、円すいころ軸受を用いた鉄道車両用軸受装置の一例が示されており、当該軸受装置は、常時非回転状態に維持された外輪(静止輪)1と、外輪1の内側に対向して回転可能に配置された内輪(回転輪)3と、外輪1及び内輪3の対向面にそれぞれ周方向に連続して複数形成された軌道面1s,3s間に沿って転動自在に組み込まれた複数の転動体(ころ)5と、複数の転動体(ころ)5を1つずつ回転自在に保持しながら、外内輪1,3間に沿って公転する例えば樹脂製の保持器11とを備えている。
上述した実施の形態では、一方のシール構造体25aの外周に、複数(図面では2つ)の突出部F1を設けた場合を想定しているが、その変形例として図3に示すように、当該シール構造体25aの外周に、ハウジングH1方向に向けて突出した単体(1つ)の突出部F1を設けるようにしても良い。なお、突出部F1の大きさ、形状、並びに材質は、上述した実施の形態と同様とすれば良い。

Claims (1)
- 鉄道車両の回転軸に装着される回転輪と、前記回転輪に対向配置され且つ軸受装置のハウジングが装着される静止輪と、前記回転輪と前記静止輪との間に構成される軸受内部を軸受外部から密封する密封機構とを具備すると共に、前記回転輪と前記静止輪との相対回転を検出するためのセンサを備えた鉄道車両用軸受装置であって、
前記密封機構は、その基端部が前記静止輪に嵌合された状態で、軸受内部を覆うように延出している環状のシール構造体を有し、前記シール構造体の外周には、前記ハウジング方向に向けて突出した少なくとも1つの突出部が当該シール構造体と一体構造を成して設けられており、
前記静止輪に前記ハウジングを装着した状態において、前記回転輪と前記静止輪との相対回転時に前記静止輪を回転させようとする力が発生した際、前記シール構造体の突出部が前記ハウジングのリブ構造体に係合することにより、前記ハウジングに対する前記静止輪の回転防止が図られると共に、
前記シール構造体は、前記静止輪の両側から軸受内部を覆うように延出し、前記突出部は、双方の前記シール構造体の少なくとも一方に設けられていると共に、
前記センサは、双方の前記シール構造体のいずれか一方に設けられ、
前記シール構造体の突出部は、前記静止輪に嵌合された前記基端部よりも軸受外部寄りに離間した位置に設けられており、
前記突出部と前記リブ構造体とは、互いに面接触して係合しており、
前記シール構造体には、その基端部の軸受外部側に、その周方向に沿って連続した環状面としてシール端面が形成されており、前記シール構造体の基端部を前記静止輪に嵌合した際に、前記シール端面が、前記ハウジングのリブ構造体と平行に対向することで、前記静止輪からの前記シール構造体の脱落を防止することを特徴とする鉄道車両用軸受装置。
