Description
Q1Q2V1−Q−V2Q3Q4 (I)
V1およびV2は独立にP、As、もしくはSbであり;Q1、Q2、Q3およびQ4はヒドロカルビル基(hydrocarbyl group)を表し、Rは2価の架橋基(bridging group)を表す。本発明はさらにこのような2座配位子、VIII族金属カチオン源ならびにアニオン源を含む触媒系に関する。さらに、本発明は、このような触媒系の存在下に、一酸化炭素および補助反応物(coreactant)との反応により、置換されていてもよいエチレン系もしくはアセチレン系不飽和化合物をカルボニル化する方法に関する。
R1R2M1−R−M2R3R4 (II)
M1およびM2は独立にP、AsもしくはSbであり;R1、R2、R3およびR4は独立に第3級アルキル基を表すか、あるいはR1およびR2が合わせて、及び/またはR3およびR4が合わせて、置換されていてもよい2価の脂環式基を表し、その2つの遊離原子価はM1もしくはM2に結合しており、またRはブリッジに2から4個の原子を含む2価の脂肪族架橋基を表し、ブリッジは2個以上の置換基で置換されている。
(a)VIII族金属カチオン源;
(b)前記の2座配位子;および
(c)アニオン源
を含む触媒系を提供する。
実施例1は250mlのマグネット式攪拌オートクレーブで実施された。オートクレーブに10mlのプロペン、40mlのアニソールおよび10mlのスルホラン、0.25mmolの白金(II)アセチルアセトナート、0.3mmolのメソ(R,S)2,3−ビス[シクロ−オクチレン)ホスフィノ]ブタン、0.3mmolのSnCl2および0.3mmolのHClを充填した。フラッシングの後、一酸化炭素および水素でそれぞれの分圧30barまでオートクレーブを加圧した。次に、反応器をシールして、内容物を100℃に加熱し、その温度に維持して反応を実質的に完了させた。0.5時間でプロペンの転化が完了し、カルボニル化の初期速度は、1000molのCO/グラム原子の白金/hrであった。カルボニル化の初期速度は、最初にプロペンが30%転化される間の一酸化炭素の平均消費速度として定義された。冷却後、反応器内容物からサンプルを取り、気−液クロマトグラフィにより分析した。線状生成物であるn−ブチルアルデヒドに対する選択性は99.0%であった。
0.3mmolのメソ2,3−ビス〔(シクロ−オクチレン)ホスフィノ〕ブタンの代わりに、0.3mmolの配位子1,2−ビス〔(シクロ−オクチレン)ホスフィノ〕エタンを配位子として用いた以外は、実施例1を繰り返した。同様の反応速度が見られた。気−液ガスクロマトグラフィによる分析の後、線状生成物であるn−ブチルアルデヒドに対する選択性は95.5%であることが見出された。

0.33mmolのメソ(R,S)2,3−PP’ビス(ホスファビシクロ[3.3.1]ノニル)ブタンの代わりに、0.4mmolの1,2−PP’ビス(9−ホスファビシクロノニル)エタン)を配位子として用いた以外は、実施例2を繰り返した。カルボニル化の初期速度は、840molのCO/グラム原子のパラジウム/hrであった。転化率は実質上に100%であった。ブチルプロピオネートに対する同様の選択性が見られた。
実施例3は250mlのマグネット式攪拌オートクレーブで実施された。オートクレーブに、30mlのブタノール−1、0.25mmolの白金(II)アセチルアセトナート、0.3mmolのメソ(R,S)2,3−PP’ビス(ホスファビシクロ[3.3.1]ノニル)ブタン、30mlのジグライム、0.3mmolのリン酸を充填した。フラッシンング後、一酸化炭素で分圧30barまで、アセチレンで分圧1.5barまでオートクレーブを加圧した。次に、反応器をシールして、内容物を125℃に加熱し、その温度に5時間維持した。カルボニル化の初期速度は、2500molのCO/グラム原子の白金/hrであった。転化率は実質上100%であった。ブチルアクリレートに対する選択性は98%であった。
0.33mmo1のメソ(R,S)2,3−PP’ビス(ホスファビシクロ[3.3.1]ノニル)ブタンの代わりに、0.4mmolの1,2−PP’ビス(9−ホスファビシクロノニル)エタン)を配位子として用いた以外は、実施例2を繰り返した。カルボニル化の初期速度は、1270molのCO/グラム原子の白金/hrであった。転化率は80%であった。ブチルアクリレートに対する選択性は98%であった。
Claims (6)
- 式IIの2座配位子であって、
R1R2M1−R−M2R3R4 (II)
M1およびM2はPであり;R1、R2、R3およびR4は独立に第3級アルキル基を表すか、あるいはR1およびR2は合わせて、及び/またはR3およびR4は合わせて、6から9個の環原子を有する2価の置換もしくは無置換シクロアルキレン基を表し、ここでその2つの遊離原子価がM1もしくはM2に結合しており、そしてRはブリッジ中に2から4個の原子を含む2価の脂肪族架橋基を表し、そのブリッジが2個以上の置換基で置換されており、ここで、該ブリッジ中の原子は炭素原子であり、置換基は1から10個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基であり、当該置換基は独立して又は結合していてもよく、該置換基が結合している場合、置換基の全体及びブリッジは合わせて脂肪族環構造である架橋基を形成でき、そして、該ブリッジは原子M1およびM2の間の最短結合である、

- 前記2から4個の原子を含む2価の脂肪族架橋基のM 1 およびM 2 に結合している炭素原子に前記置換基を有し、ここで当該置換基は1から10個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基である、
請求項1に記載の2座配位子。
- (a)VIII族金属カチオン源;
(b)請求項1または2に記載の2座配位子;および
(c)アニオン源
を含む置換されていてもよいエチレン系もしくはアセチレン系不飽和化合物をカルボニル化するための触媒系。
- 請求項3に記載の触媒系の存在下に、一酸化炭素および補助反応物との反応により、置換されていてもよいエチレン系もしくはアセチレン系不飽和化合物をカルボニル化する方法。
- 補助反応物として水素が用いられる請求項4に記載の方法。
- 補助反応物として移動性水素原子を有する求核化合物が用いられる請求項4に記載の方法。
