Description
本実施形態に係る一体部材は、要求される特性(耐摩耗性や強度及び靱性などの特性)が互いに異なる第1部材と第2部材とが溶接にて一体化されて成るスタータドリブンギアから成るものであり、図1〜5に示すように、第1部材としての軸部品3と、第2部材としての円環部品2(歯車部)とから主に構成されている。
まず、汎用的な機械加工にて、予め円環部品2及び軸部品3をそれぞれ製造しておく。このとき、既述のように、軸部品3(第1部材)は、円環部品2(第2部材)よりも炭素含有量が多い材質から成るものとされており、例えば軸部品3が中炭素合金鋼(或いは高炭素合金鋼)及び円環部品2が低炭素鋼又は低炭素合金鋼とされる。

Claims (6)
- 要求される特性が互いに異なる第1部材と第2部材とが溶接にて一体化されて成る一体部材を製造するための一体部材の製造方法であって、
前記第1部材は、前記第2部材よりも炭素含有量が多い部材から成るものとされ、且つ、
前記第1部材を前記第2部材に圧入しつつその圧入部に対して通電させることにより電気抵抗溶接し、当該第1部材と第2部材とを一体化し得る電気抵抗溶接工程と、
該電気抵抗溶接工程で得られた一体部材に対して浸炭焼入焼戻し又は浸炭浸窒焼入焼戻しすることにより、前記第1部材及び第2部材に要求される特性に応じた浸炭硬化層をそれぞれ形成する浸炭硬化層形成工程と、
を有することを特徴とする一体部材の製造方法。 - 前記第1部材は、軸状の軸部品から成るとともに、前記第2部材は、当該軸部品を圧入可能な開口が中央に形成された円環状の円環部品から成るものとされ、前記電気抵抗溶接工程にて、前記円環部品の開口に軸部品を圧入しつつその開口縁部との間で通電させることにより円環状の電気抵抗溶接が行われることを特徴とする請求項1記載の一体部材の製造方法。
- 前記一体部材は、車両におけるスタータモータの駆動力をクランクシャフトに伝達するためのスタータドリブンギアから成るものとされ、前記円環部品は、その周縁にギアが形成されて当該スタータドリブンギアの歯車部とされるとともに、前記軸部品の外周面及び内周面にベアリングが介装されて組み付けられることを特徴とする請求項2記載の一体部材の製造方法。
- 要求される特性が互いに異なる第1部材と第2部材とが溶接にて一体化されて成る一体部材であって、
前記第1部材は、前記第2部材よりも炭素含有量が多い部材から成るものとされ、且つ、
前記第1部材を前記第2部材に圧入しつつその圧入部に対して通電させることにより電気抵抗溶接し、当該第1部材と第2部材とを一体化し得る電気抵抗溶接工程と、
該電気抵抗溶接工程で得られた一体部材に対して浸炭焼入焼戻し又は浸炭浸窒焼入焼戻しすることにより、前記第1部材及び第2部材に要求される特性に応じた浸炭硬化層をそれぞれ形成する浸炭硬化層形成工程と、
を経ることにより得られることを特徴とする一体部材。 - 前記第1部材は、軸状の軸部品から成るとともに、前記第2部材は、当該軸部品を圧入可能な開口が中央に形成された円環状の円環部品から成るものとされ、前記電気抵抗溶接工程にて、前記円環部品の開口に軸部品を圧入しつつその開口縁部との間で通電させることにより円環状の電気抵抗溶接が行われることを特徴とする請求項4記載の一体部材。
- 車両におけるスタータモータの駆動力をクランクシャフトに伝達するためのスタータドリブンギアから成り、前記円環部品は、その周縁にギアが形成されて当該スタータドリブンギアの歯車部とされるとともに、前記軸部品の外周面及び内周面にベアリングが介装されて組み付けられることを特徴とする請求項5記載の一体部材。
