Claims (12)
- 基板上に陽極層、有機発光層を含む有機発光媒体層、陰極層を順次形成し、
封止基板の外周に隙間を有する第1の接着剤を塗布し、
固体微粒子を混入した第2の接着剤を前記第1の接着剤の隙間に塗布し、
前記基板と前記封止基板とを前記第1の接着剤と前記第2の接着剤とを介して、加圧封止し、
第3の接着剤を側面から第2の接着剤を覆うように塗布してから、前記第1の接着剤、前記第2の接着剤及び前記第3の接着剤を硬化させることを特徴とする有機EL素子の封止方法。 - 基板上に陽極層、有機発光層を含む有機発光媒体層、陰極層を順次形成し、
封止基板の外周に隙間を有する第1の接着剤を塗布し、
固体微粒子を混入した第2の接着剤を前記第1の接着剤の隙間に塗布し、
前記基板と前記封止基板とを前記第1の接着剤と前記第2の接着剤とを介して、加圧封止し、
前記第1の接着剤と前記第2の接着剤を硬化し、
真空ポンプで雰囲気を真空にすることによって、前記第1の接着剤と前記第2の接着剤の硬化過程で放出されたアウトガスを封止空間から排除し、
不活性気体を封止空間に流し込むことによって、前記封止空間を前記不活性気体の雰囲気にしてから、第3の接着剤を側面から前記第2の接着剤を覆うように塗布して、前記第3の接着剤を硬化させることを特徴とする有機EL素子の封止方法。 - 前記第2の接着剤の前記固体微粒子の混入量は、前記固体微粒子対第2の接着剤の体積比で10%以上90%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の有機EL素子の封止方法。
- 前記固体微粒子が無機微粒子または有機微粒子であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の有機EL素子の封止方法。
- 前記固体微粒子の直径は1μm以上100μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれかに記載の有機EL素子の封止方法。
- 前記第2の接着剤の幅は0.1mm以上100mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれかに記載の有機EL素子の封止方法。
- 前記第3の接着剤の幅は前記第2の接着剤の幅の1倍〜10倍であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれかに記載の有機EL素子の封止方法。
- 前記第3の接着剤の高さが前記第2の接着剤より高いことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれかに記載の有機EL素子の封止方法。
- 前記第1の接着剤、前記第2の接着剤及び前記第3の接着剤は熱硬化型または紫外線硬化型であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれかに記載の有機EL素子の封止方法。

前記基板上に形成された陽極層と、
前記陽極層上に形成された有機発光層を含む有機発光媒体層と、
前記有機発光媒体層上に形成された陰極層と、
前記陽極層、前記有機発光媒体層、前記陰極層を封止する封止基板と、
前記基板と前記封止基板とを貼り合わせる隙間を有する第1の接着剤と、
前記第1の接着剤の隙間部分を埋める固体微粒子を含み貫通孔を有する第2の接着剤と、
前記第2の接着剤を覆うように形成された第3の接着剤と、
