Description
−たとえばブタジエンまたはイソプレンのようなジエンをベースとするジエンゴム(ABS);
−アクリル酸のアルキルエステル、たとえば、アクリル酸n−ブチルおよびアクリル酸2−エチルヘキシルをベースとするアクリル酸アルキルゴム(ASA);
−エチレン、プロピレンおよびジエンをベースとするEPDMゴム(AES);
または、これらのゴムおよび/またはゴムモノマーの混合物。

Dparticle,50値が1.6μmでDparticle,90値が3.4μm(Sympatec、Germany製のHelos装置を使用したレーザー粒度測定法により決定)の球状アルミニウム粒子(ECKART GmbH、Fuerth、Germany)と、Dflake,50値が5.0μmのアルミニウムフレーク(Chromal XV、ECKART GmbH、Fuerth、Germany)との混合物を、射出成形により熱可塑性ポリプロピレン(PP)(R771−10;DOW、Germany、Wesseling)と共に加工して、板(面積42×60mm、厚み2mm)を形成させた。
495gのポリプロピレンペレットと、5gの、Dmixture,50値が2.5μmでDmixture,90値が10.5μmの球状アルミニウム粒子と粉体状アルミニウムフレークの混合物(95重量%の球状粒子と5重量%のフレークとからなる)を、タンブラーミキサー中で混合してから、さらなる添加剤を加えることなく、2軸スクリュー押出機(Bersdorff、Germany、直径25mm、28L/D)中、加工温度約230℃で加工して、ペレットとした。次いでこれらのペレットを、射出成形機(Arburg Allrounder 221−55−250)を使用し、その材料に特定の加工温度(たとえば、PP:260℃)で加工して、先に定義した寸法の試験小片を得た。
比較例として、実施例1におけるのと同様ではあるが、ただし球状アルミニウム粒子とアルミニウムフレークとの混合物を添加することなく、PP板を射出成形により成形し、Nd:YAGレーザーを用いて処理した。
Dparticle,50値が39.3μmでDparticle,90値が69.1μm(実施例1の場合と同様にHelos装置を用いて決定)の球状アルミニウム粒子(ECKART GmbH)を、実施例1に従ってポリプロピレン(PP)と共に加工した。
Dflake,50値が4.0μmでDflake,90値が10.0μm(実施例1の場合と同様にHelos装置を用いて決定)の微細なアルミニウムフレーク(PC200、Eckart GmbH、Fuerth、Germany)を、実施例1の場合と同様にしてポリプロピレンと共に加工した。
Dparticle,50値が1.6μmでDparticle,90値が3.4μm(Sympatec、Germany製のHelos装置を使用したレーザー粒度測定法により決定)の球状アルミニウム粒子(ECKART GmbH、Fuerth、Germany)と、Dflake,50値が5.0μmのアルミニウムフレーク(Chromal XV、ECKART GmbH、Fuerth、Germany)との混合物を、その混合比(重量分率)を、それぞれの場合において、500:1、200:1、100:5、50:1、30:1、20:1、10:1、5:1、3:1、2:1、および1:1とし、ポリプロピレン中の顔料混合物の濃度を0.02重量%と一定とし、実施例1の場合と同様にして加工した。
Dparticle,50値が1.6μmでDparticle,90値が3.4μmの球状アルミニウム粒子(ECKART GmbH、Fuerth、Germany)と、Dflake,50値が30.5μmのアルミニウムフレーク(Chromal I、ECKART GmbH、Fuerth,Germany)との混合物を、その混合比(重量分率)を、それぞれの場合において、500:1、200:1、100:5、50:1、30:1、20:1、10:1、5:1、3:1、2:1、および1:1と異ならせ、ポリプロピレン中の濃度を0.02重量%と一定とし、実施例5の場合と同様にして加工した。
アンチモンをドープさせた酸化スズのコーティングを含むマイカフレーク(Lazerflair(登録商標)825、E.Merck KGaA、Germany)を、実施例1に従って、PPと共に加工した。
実施例1の場合と同様にして、銀色の真珠光沢顔料(PX1001、ECKART)を、ポリプロピレン(PP)中、濃度0.49重量%で加工した。この場合、満足ないしは十分なエッジ解像力およびドット精度を示す、高コントラストな、黒く耐摩耗性のマークを得ることが可能であった。しかしながら、この場合においては、PP板が真珠光的光沢を有していて、不透明であった。
実施例1の場合と同様にして、銀色の真珠光沢顔料(PX1001、ECKART)を、ポリプロピレン(PP)中、濃度0.49重量%で、さらに、D10=1.9μm、D50=3.4μm、D90=6μmの粒子サイズ分布を有する亜鉛粉体(亜鉛末17640、製造業者:Norzinko GmbH、Gosslar、Germany)を0.0098重量%で、PPと共に加工した。
実施例1の場合と同様にして、亜鉛粉体(亜鉛末17640、Norzinko GmbH、Gosslar、Germany)を、ポリプロピレン(PP)と共に加工した。
実施例1の場合と同様にして、銀色の真珠光沢顔料(PX1001、ECKART)を濃度0.05重量%で、さらに、亜鉛粉体(亜鉛末17640、Norzinko GmbH、Gosslar、Germany)を0.05重量%の濃度で、PPと共に加工した。
本発明実施例12:
Dparticle,50値が1.6μmでDparticle,90値が3.4μm(Sympatec、Germany製のHelos装置を使用したレーザー粒度測定法により決定)の球状アルミニウム粒子(ECKART GmbH、Fuerth、Germany)と、Dflake,50値が5.0μmのアルミニウムフレーク(Chromal XV、ECKART GmbH、Fuerth、Germany)との混合物(95重量%の球状粒子と5重量%のフレークとからなる混合物(重量比19:1)で、Dmixture,50値が2.5μmでDmixture,90値が10.5μmのもの)を、0.05重量%の割合で、熱可塑性ポリプロピレン(R771−10;DOW、USA)と共に、射出成形プロセルによって加工して板とした(実施例1と同様、面積42×60mm、厚み1mm)。
実施例12の場合と同様にして、その手順を、球状アルミニウム粒子およびアルミニウムフレークを添加していない、熱可塑性ポリプロピレン(R771−10;DOW、USA)製の2枚の板で実施した。しかしながら、それらのプラスチック板の溶融を誘導することは不可能であった。
Dparticle,50値が1.6μmでDparticle,90値が3.4μm(Sympatec、Germany製のHelos装置を使用したレーザー粒度測定法により決定)の球状アルミニウム粒子(ECKART GmbH、Fuerth、Germany)と、Dflake,50値が5.0μmのアルミニウムフレーク(Chromal XV、ECKART GmbH、Fuerth、Germany)との混合物(95重量%の球状粒子と5重量%のフレークとからなる混合物(重量比19:1)で、Dmixture,50値が2.5μmでDmixture,90値が10.5μmのもの)を、0.5重量%の割合で、低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)(LDPE410−E、DOW、USA)と共に、フィルム押出機(タイプ:Scientific、LabTech、Thailand)により加工して、厚み100μmのインフレートフィルムとした。フィルムの断片(110×70mm)を、球状アルミニウム粒子およびアルミニウムフレークを添加していない、相当するLDPEフィルムで覆い、実施例20の場合と同様に処理した。この結果として、照射された領域において、フィルムとフィルムの接触範囲でそれらの溶融を誘導することが可能であった。その溶着は、力を加えたときにだけ、再分離させることが可能であり、その溶着の部分ではフィルムの破損を伴った。
低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)(LDPE410−E、DOW、USA)の2枚の顔料無添加のフィルムを使用して、実施例14の手順を繰り返した。しかしながら、ポリマーフィルムの溶融を誘導することは不可能であった。
Claims (26)
- プラスチック中におけるレーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用であって、
混合物中の球状金属粒子および金属フレークの粒子サイズ分布が、レーザー粒度測定法の手段によって求めて、体積平均累積篩下粒子サイズ分布の形で、<100μmのDmixture,90値および<60μmのDmixture,50を有することを特徴とする、
レーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用。 - 球状金属粒子および金属フレークが、相互に独立して、重金属を最大でも1重量%までしか含まないことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のレーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用。
- プラスチック中の球状金属粒子および金属フレークの割合が、それぞれの場合において、プラスチックの全重量を基準にして、0.0005%〜0.8重量%の範囲であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のレーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用。
- 混合物中の球状金属粒子および金属フレークの粒子サイズ分布が、レーザー粒度測定法によって求めて、体積平均累積篩下粒子サイズ分布の形で、<70μmのDmixture,90値および<40μmのDmixture,50値を有することを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のレーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用。
- 混合物中の球状金属粒子および金属フレークの体積平均累積篩下粒子サイズ分布が、<65μmのDmixture,90値および<35μmのDmixture,50値を有することを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のレーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用。
- 球状金属粒子および/または金属フレークが、アルミニウム、銅、銀、金、亜鉛、スズ、鉄、チタン、バナジウム、マグネシウム、タングステン、およびそれらの合金からなる群より選択される金属を含むか、または前記金属からなることを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のレーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用。
- 球状金属粒子および金属フレークが、球状金属粒子および金属フレークの合計重量を基準にして、15重量%以下の自然金属酸化物含量を有することを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のレーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用。
- 球状金属粒子および/または金属フレークが、少なくとも1層の無機金属酸化物層を備えていることを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のレーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用。
- 金属酸化物層が、SiO2を含むか、またはSiO2からなることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のレーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用。
- 球状金属粒子の金属フレークに対する重量比が、500:1〜1:1の範囲であることを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のレーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用。
- 金属フレークの粒子サイズ分布が、レーザー粒度測定法によって求めて、体積平均累積篩下粒子サイズ分布の形で、1〜60μmの範囲のDflake,50を有することを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のレーザーマーキング剤またはレーザー溶着化剤としての球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物の使用。
- マスターバッチであって、
マスターバッチが、請求項1〜11に記載の用途のための球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物、ならびにさらに少なくとも1種の分散担体を含むことを特徴とする、
マスターバッチ。 - 分散担体が、プラスチック成分、ワックス、樹脂、添加剤、またはそれらの混合物からなる群より選択されることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載のマスターバッチ。
- マスターバッチ中の球状金属粒子および金属フレークの量が、マスターバッチの全重量を基準にして、80%〜99重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項12または13に記載のマスターバッチ。
- マスターバッチ中の球状金属粒子および金属フレークの量が、マスターバッチの全重量を基準にして、0.001%〜5重量%の範囲であることを特徴とする、請求項12または13に記載のマスターバッチ。
- レーザーマーク可能および/またはレーザー溶着可能なプラスチックを製造するための、請求項12〜15のいずれかに記載のマスターバッチの使用。
- レーザーマーク可能および/またはレーザー溶着可能なプラスチックであって、
プラスチックが、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の用途のための球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含む混合物、または請求項12〜15のいずれかに記載のマスターバッチを含むことを特徴とする、
レーザーマーク可能および/またはレーザー溶着可能なプラスチック。 - プラスチック中の球状金属粒子および金属フレークの割合が、それぞれの場合において、プラスチックの全重量を基準にして、0.0005%〜0.8重量%の範囲であることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載のレーザーマーク可能および/またはレーザー溶着可能なプラスチック。
- プラスチック中の球状金属粒子および金属フレークの割合が、それぞれの場合において、レーザーマーク可能なプラスチックの全重量を基準にして、0.005%〜0.5重量%の範囲であることを特徴とする、請求項17および18のいずれかに記載のレーザーマーク可能および/またはレーザー溶着可能なプラスチック。
- プラスチックが、プラスチックフィルムまたはラベルであることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載のレーザーマーク可能および/またはレーザー溶着可能なプラスチック。
- プラスチックが、それぞれの場合において、レーザーマーク可能なプラスチックフィルムの全重量を基準にして、0.01%〜1.0重量%の範囲の割合の、球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含むプラスチックフィルムを表すことを特徴とする、請求項20に記載のレーザーマーク可能および/またはレーザー溶着可能なプラスチック。
- プラスチックが、三次元プラスチック体であることを特徴とする、請求項17〜19のいずれかに記載のレーザーマーク可能および/またはレーザー溶着可能なプラスチック。
- プラスチックが、熱可塑性プラスチック、熱硬化性プラスチック、エラストマー、またはゴムを含むことを特徴とする、請求項17〜19のいずれかに記載のレーザーマーク可能なプラスチック。
- プラスチックが、熱可塑性プラスチックを含むことを特徴とする、請求項23に記載のレーザー溶着可能なプラスチック。
- プラスチック中の球状金属粒子および金属フレークの割合が、それぞれの場合において、レーザーマーク可能なプラスチックの全重量を基準にして、0.01%〜0.1重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項19に記載のレーザーマーク可能および/またはレーザー溶着可能なプラスチック。
- プラスチックが、それぞれの場合において、レーザーマーク可能なプラスチックフィルムの全重量を基準にして、0.02%〜0.5重量%の割合の、球状金属粒子および金属フレークを含むプラスチックフィルムを表すことを特徴とする、請求項21に記載のレーザーマーク可能および/またはレーザー溶着可能なプラスチック。
