Description
上記外装材120の内側には、上記電極組立体110と共に電解質(図示せず)が収容される。そして、上記外装材120は、両端部である一辺と他辺が融着、好ましくは熱融着されて、シーリング部124を形成する。一方、上記シーリング部124の一側には、電解液を注入し、充放電時に発生するガスが排出されるガス室が形成されることができる。このようなガス室の構造は、製造方法でより具体的に説明する。

Claims (16)
- 第1電極及び第2電極、並びに、前記第1電極及び前記第2電極の間に介在されたセパレーターを含む電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体の外部を囲む外装材と、
ポリプロピレン(PP)によって形成され、前記外装材を密封するカバーと、
を含み、
前記電極組立体と前記カバーとの間には、前記電極組立体の電極端子を外部衝撃から保護する端子保護部材が設けられており、
前記端子保護部材は、ポリプロピレン(PP)からなる絶縁材質で形成され、前記電極組立体の外郭に対応する大きさ及び形状に形成されており、
前記外装材は、外部層、遮断層及び内部層が積層されて、170〜300μmの厚さに形成されており、
前記遮断層は、延伸率20〜60%の金属材料を用いて形成され、
前記内部層は、変性ポリプロピレン(CPP)によって形成され、
前記端子保護部材は、前記外装材の内側面及び前記カバーに融着することで固定され、
前記カバーは、前記外装材の内側面と融着されて密封される、
ことを特徴とする、リチウムポリマー二次電池。 - 前記端子保護部材は、外壁を形成する垂直部と、前記垂直部を連結する水平部とを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記水平部には、前記電極端子が貫通する端子孔が形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記端子保護部材は、前記電極組立体と嵌合していることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記端子保護部材は、前記電極組立体に載置される状態で設けられたことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記端子保護部材とカバーとの間に二次保護素子が設けられ、前記電極組立体と電気的に連結されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記二次保護素子は、温度ヒューズであることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記端子保護部材の上側に、保護回路を備える回路基板が設けられたことを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記回路基板は、前記カバーの内部に設けられたことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記外装材の両端部である一辺と他辺とが融着されてシーリング部が形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記外装材の一側に、電解液を注入し充放電時に発生するガスが排出されるガス室がさらに備えられたことを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記外装材は、矩形のシートであるラミネートフィルムで形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記カバーは、前記電極組立体の上端部を密封する第1カバー及び前記電極組立体の下端部を密封する第2カバーを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記カバーは、内部の電極タブ収容空間を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記カバーは、一面が開放されて内部の空間を有するキャップの形状に形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
- 前記外装材又は前記カバーでの融着は、熱融着であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は10に記載のリチウムポリマー二次電池。
