Description
a)1種以上のゴム成分、
b)ヒドロキシ基を含有する1種以上の酸化物フィラー、
c)ヒドロキシ基を含有する1種以上のミクロゲル、
d)1種以上の硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物、
e)適切な場合、1種以上の加硫剤、
f)適切な場合、1種以上のゴム添加剤
の混合を含む、ゴム混合物の製造方法であって、
第1部分が硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物の総量の少なくとも30重量%を含む、少なくとも2つの別個の部分で硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物が添加されることを特徴とする方法を提供する。
本発明のゴム成分a)には好ましくはジエンをベースとするものが含まれ、特定例は、二重結合を含有し、ゲル含量を事実上全く含まず、かつ、DIN/ISO 1629がR−ゴムと命名するゴムである。これらのゴムは主鎖に二重結合を有する。好ましく使用されるゴム成分の例は、

およびこれらの混合物
をベースとするものである。
ヒドロキシ基を含有する、使用される酸化物フィラーb)は好ましくは、ヒドロキシ基を含有する、シリコーン含有酸化物フィラー、特にシリカである。これらは、特にヒドロキシ基を表面に持つ特に親水性シリカである。
本発明の加硫可能な組成物に使用することができるミクロゲルは、(DSCを用いて測定して)−75℃〜+120℃の範囲のガラス転移温度を有する。

EVM:エチレン/酢酸ビニルコポリマー
Q:シリコーンゴム
AU:ポリエステルウレタンポリマー
EU:ポリエーテルウレタンポリマー
ENR:エポキシ化天然ゴム、またはそれの混合物。
1.比較的高い官能性のモノマーを使用する、エマルジョンでの架橋共重合(直接重合)、
2.例えば、架橋剤、例えば、ジクミルペルオキシドでの処理による、未架橋ラテックスの架橋、
3.有機溶媒中の、エマルジョン重合によって入手できないポリマーの、これらのポリマーの相当する溶液からの再分散、およびこのようにして得られた二次ラテックスの、方法2による架橋、
4.好適な方法を用いる、または好適なモノマーでのグラフト化による、方法1〜3によって得られたミクロゲルの官能化
によって製造される。
硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物d)は一般に常に、次の構造要素:
− 有機ケイ素構造要素、特にアルコキシシリル基、好ましくはトリアルコキシシリル基、
− 硫黄含有構造要素、特に、xが平均して1〜10、好ましくは1〜6であることができる、スルフィドのまたはポリスルフィドの部分Sx、
− 上記有機ケイ素構造要素を上記硫黄含有構造要素に連結する、2価の「スペーサー」基Q
の1つを有する。

xは、平均して1〜10、好ましくは1〜6であることができ、
R1、R2、およびR3は、好ましくは1〜10個の炭素原子を有するアルコキシ基であり、
Qは、特に脂肪族、ヘテロ脂肪族、芳香族、または1〜20個の、好ましくは1〜10個の炭素原子を有し、かつ、酸素、硫黄、窒素などの、1〜3個のヘテロ原子を有するヘテロ芳香族炭素鎖をベースとする、スペーサー基であり、
R4は、水素、アルキル、および/または次の構造:
の部分である。
のビス(トリエトキシシリルプロピルポリスルファン)である。このタイプの製品は、Degussa社からシランSi75(n=2)として、およびシランSi69(n=4)として商業的に入手可能である。
本発明に使用される加硫剤は、特に、硫黄または、ジチオモルホリン(DTDM)もしくは2−(4−モルホリノジチオ)ベンゾチアゾール(MBSS)などの、硫黄供与体である。硫黄および硫黄供与体の使用量の例は、ゴムの総量を基準として、0.1〜15重量部、好ましくは0.1〜10重量部である。
本発明に使用されるゴム添加剤の中に、特に加硫促進剤がある。好適な加硫促進剤の例は、メルカプトベンゾチアゾール類、−スルフェンアミド類、グアニジン類、チウラムジスルフィド類、ジチオカルバメート類、チオウレア類、チオカーボネート類、およびまたジチオホスフェート類などである(Ullmann’s Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry,VCH Verlagsgesellschaft mbH,D−69451 Weinheim,1993年,vol A 23,“Chemicals and Additives”,366−417ページ)。
− 20〜400m2/gのBET表面積の、および5〜400nmの一次粒径の、ケイ酸アルミニウムなどの合成シリケート、ケイ酸マグネシウムまたはケイ酸カルシウムなどのアルカリ土類金属シリケート;
− カオリンおよび他の天然由来シリカなどの、天然シリケート;
− 酸化亜鉛、酸化カルシウム、酸化マグネシウム、酸化アルミニウムなどの、金属酸化物;
− 炭酸カルシウム、炭酸マグネシウム、炭酸亜鉛などの、金属炭酸塩;
− 硫酸カルシウム、硫酸バリウムなどの、金属硫酸塩;
− 水酸化アルミニウムおよび水酸化マグネシウムなどの、金属水酸化物;
− ガラス繊維およびガラス繊維製品(スレート、より糸(ストランド)、またはガラスマイクロビーズ);
− 熱可塑性樹脂(ポリアミド、ポリエステル、アラミド、ポリカーボネート、シンジタクチック1,2−ポリブタジエン、およびトランス−1,4−ポリブタジエン)ならびにまたセルロースおよびデンプン
であり、
それらの全ては成分b)の定義にはいらない。
本発明は、Tg=−15℃のSBRゲルを使用した。このゲルは、94.8重量%のトルエン不溶部分を有する。トルエンにおける膨潤指数は7.35である。ヒドロキシ価は32.8mgKOH/1gのゲルである。
試験1は比較例であり、ミクロゲルなしで、カーボンブラック(5phr)と一緒にフィラーとしてシリカ(80phr)を本質的に使用している。シリカは、ビス(トリエトキシシリルプロピルモノスルファン)(Degussa Huels AG製のSi75)で活性化し、シランの全量をここでは第一の混合工程で添加する。

Claims (12)
- a)1種以上のゴム成分、
b)ヒドロキシ基を含有する1種以上の酸化物フィラー、
c)ヒドロキシ基を含有する1種以上のミクロゲル、および
d)1種以上の硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物、
を含み、
e)1種以上の加硫剤を含むかまたは含まず、
f)少なくとも1種の加硫促進剤を含む1種以上のゴム添加剤を含む
成分の混合を含む、ゴム混合物の製造方法であって、
少なくとも2回の混合工程を含み、
前記有機ケイ素化合物d)の添加が前記少なくとも2回の異なる混合工程で行われ、その第一の混合工程で前記硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物d)の総量の少なくとも30重量%が添加され、かつ、
前記有機ケイ素化合物d)の添加が行われる前記少なくとも2回の異なる混合工程の後で前記加硫促進剤が添加される
ことを特徴とする方法。 - (i)1種以上のゴム成分a)、
ヒドロキシ基を含有する1種以上の酸化物フィラーb)、
ヒドロキシ基を含有する1種以上のミクロゲルc)、および
1種以上の硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物d)
を含み、
1種以上の加硫剤e)を含むか又は含まず、かつ、
少なくとも1種の加硫促進剤を含む1種以上のゴム添加剤f)を含む、
成分が60℃超の温度で混合される第一の混合工程であって、前記硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物d)の総量の少なくとも30重量%が添加される工程と、
(iii)前記硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物の残量の少なくとも一部を含み、成分a)、b)、c)、e)、およびf)の1つ以上を含むか又は含まない、成分(前記加硫促進剤を除く)が添加され、そして60℃超の温度で混合される第二の混合工程と、
前記第二の工程の後の、前記加硫促進剤が添加される工程と
を含み、
前記第一の混合工程の後の、前記第一の混合工程で得られた混合物を冷却する工程(ii)を含むか又は含まない、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第二の混合工程において、前記硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物d)の全残量が添加される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 成分c)の添加が少なくとも2回の異なる混合工程で行われる、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 成分c)の総量の一部が第一の混合工程において添加され、且つ成分c)の残量の少なくとも一部の添加が第二の混合工程において実施される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第二の混合工程において、成分c)の全残量が添加される、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記の混合工程(複数)における混合が60℃超の温度で行われる、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物が前記混合工程(複数)の間に冷却される、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 第一の混合工程において、使用される前記硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物の総量を基準として、30〜80重量%の硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物d)が添加される、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- (i)1種以上のゴム成分a)、
ヒドロキシ基を含有する1種以上の酸化物フィラーb)、
ヒドロキシ基を含有する1種以上のミクロゲルc)、および
1種以上の硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物d)
を含み、
1種以上の加硫剤e)を含むかまたは含まず、
少なくとも1種の加硫促進剤を含む1種以上のゴム添加剤f)を含む
成分が60℃超の温度で混合される第一の混合工程であって、前記硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物d)の総量の少なくとも30重量%が添加される工程と、
(iii)前記硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物の残量の少なくとも一部を含み、かつ、成分a)、b)、c)、e)、およびf)の1つ以上を含むか又は含まない、成分(前記加硫促進剤を除く)が添加され、そして60℃超の温度で混合される第二の混合工程と
(iv)工程(iii)で得られた混合物を冷却する工程と、
(v)ゴム添加剤f)として、1種以上の加硫促進剤を含み、かつ1種以上の加硫剤e)を含むか又は含まない、成分が添加され、60℃未満の温度で混合される第三の混合工程と
を含み、
前記第一の混合工程の後の、前記第一の混合工程で得られた混合物を冷却する工程(ii)を含むか又は含まない、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 成分c)の一部が混合工程(i)において添加され、そして成分c)の残部が混合工程(iii)において添加される、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも2種の異なる硫黄含有有機ケイ素化合物が添加されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
