Claims (4)
- 放電管(1)と2つの外側に延伸する管(14)とを備える複合HID発光管であって、
前記放電管が、溶融石英ガラスまたはバイコール石英ガラスをブロー成形し、アウターシェル上に透光性多結晶アルミナ層(12)を適用することによって製造されたアウターシェルの形状を成す複合二層シェルであり、
前記外側に延伸する管が、溶融石英ガラスまたはバイコール石英ガラスからなり、アークチャンバの一端に近接する第1部位と、該第1部位から外側に延伸する第2部位とを含み、該第1部位および第2部位はシールされており、
多結晶アルミナ層が、第1部位におけるシーリング材と前記外側に延伸する管との間に適用されていることを特徴とする複合HID発光管。 - 前記発光管の内壁及び前記外側に延伸する管の前記アークチャンバに近接する3〜8mmの長さを有する部位の内壁に、0.2〜0.5mmの厚さを有する透光性多結晶アルミナ層が均一に適用されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の複合HID発光管。
- 前記放電管の前記アークチャンバが、オリーブまたは楕円の形状である、請求項1または2に記載の複合HID発光管。
- 前記外側に延伸する管の各々に2つの異なるシーリング方法が使用された、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の複合HID発光管。
