Claims (6)
- 外輪の内径面端部に形成されたシール溝に外径部が嵌合される芯金と、その芯金の軸受内部と対向する内表面に加硫接着されたゴムシールとからなり、前記芯金が、前記シール溝に嵌合される屈曲部と、その屈曲部の軸受内部に位置する一端部から内方に向く外側フランジと、その外側フランジの内径端に大径端が連続して、小径端が大径端より軸受外部に位置するテーパ筒部と、そのテーパ筒部の小径端から内方に向く内側フランジとを備え、前記ゴムシールが、芯金の屈曲部から内側フランジの中途に至る範囲を覆い、テーパ筒部の内表面を覆う部分を厚肉部とし、その厚肉部の内径面に内輪の外径面に弾性接触される3つのシールリップを軸方向に間隔をおいて設けた構成とされた軸受シールにおいて、
前記厚肉部に形成された3つのリップのうちの最も外側に位置する外部リップの軸方向外方に、前記厚肉部より小径とされて内側フランジの内径面を覆う円筒状の小径厚肉部と、その小径厚肉部の端部に内側フランジの外表面を覆う薄肉厚の外面被覆部を連続して設けたことを特徴とする軸受シール。 - 前記小径厚肉部の内径面に前記外部リップの外面に沿う環状溝を設けた請求項1に記載の軸受シール。
- 前記内側フランジの内径と環状溝の内径との半径差を0.1mm以上1.0mm以下した請求項2に記載の軸受シール。
- 前記環状溝の内径と前記小径厚肉部の内径との半径差を0.1mm以上1.0mm以下とした請求項2又は3に記載の軸受シール。
- 前記小径厚肉部の外端面から環状溝に至る部分の軸方向長さをリップの厚みより長くした請求項2乃至4のいずれかの項に記載の軸受シール。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれかの項に記載の軸受シールの成形用金型において、合わせ面に凹部を有し、その凹部の底面に前記小径厚肉部の内径面を成形する下部コアが形成された下型と、その下型に対する合わせ面に、ゴムシールの厚肉部の内径面および各リップを成形する上部コアが形成された開閉可能な上型とからなり、前記凹部の内周に、内側フランジを下向きとして挿入される芯金のテーパ筒部の外周面を密着状態に支持するテーパ状のセット面と、そのセット面の大径端に連続して外側フランジを支持する支持面とを設け、かつ、下型の合わせ面に芯金の屈曲部の他端部が挿入される挿入溝を設け、前記下型にセットされた前記芯金と型締めされた上型の間にシール部材成形用のキャビティを設けたことを特徴とする軸受シール成形用の金型。
