本出願請求は、2005年6月21日に出願され、本出願の譲受人に譲渡された「無線通信システムにおける干渉制御(Interference Control In Wireless Communication System)」というタイトルの米国特許出願第11/158,584号の一部継続出願であり、該出願の全体を本願明細書に援用する。
Rm,u(k,n)は、端末uからセクタmにより得られた受信シンボルであり、及び Im(k,n)は、セクタmによって観測される干渉の推定値である。
gns,i(n)は、端末uと隣接するセクタとの間のチャネル利得であり、
gss(n)は、端末uとサービングセクタとの間のチャネル利得であり、
ri(n)は、隣接するセクタiの場合のチャネル利得比である。
Pdch(n)=Pref(n)+ΔP(n) 式(10)
ただし、
Pdch(n)は、更新間隔nの場合のトラヒックチャネルのための送信電力であり、 Pref(n)は、更新間隔nの場合の基準電力であり、及び
ΔP(n)は、更新間隔nの場合の送信電力差分である。
送信電力差分ΔP(n)は、隣接するセクタからのOTA OSIレポートに基づいて、決定論的方法、確率論的方法又は他の方法で調節することができる。送信電力は、(1)決定論的調節を用いた、異なる干渉レベルに対する異なる量により、又は(2)確率論的調節を用いた、異なる干渉レベルに対する異なるレートで、調節することができる。以下、例示的な決定論的及び確率論的送信電力調節について説明する。単純化するため、以下の説明は、1つの隣接するセクタから受信したOSIビットの場合の送信電力調節に対するものとする。このOSIビットは、OSIビット1又は2とすることができる。
ただし、
ΔPminは、トラヒックチャネルに対して許容可能な最小送信電力差分であり、
ΔPmaxは、該トラヒックチャネルに対して許容可能な最大送信電力差分である。
kdn及びkupは、それぞれ、ΔPdn(n)及びΔPup(n)に対する倍率であり、
fdn()及びfup()はそれぞれ、ΔPdn(n)及びΔPup(n)を計算するための関数である。
Prdn,min及びPrup,minは、それぞれ、Prdn(n)及びPrup(n)に対する最小値であり、
f’dn()及びf’up()は、それぞれ、Prdn(n)及びPrup(n)を計算するための関数である。
Claims (24)
- 近隣基地局から第1の干渉レポートを基地局で受信することと、なお、前記第1の干渉レポートは、前記近隣基地局で観測される干渉を表示する;
前記基地局によって、前記近隣基地局から受信される前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて端末のためのデータ送信を調整することと、
を備え、
前記端末のためのデータ送信を調整することは、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて、前記端末に対してトラヒックチャネルを割当てることを備え、前記端末に対して割当てられる前記トラヒックチャネルは、前記近隣基地局によってサービスが提供される端末に対して割当てられるトラヒックチャネルに対して直交し、前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整することは、不利な条件下にある端末の送信電力を低減することをさらに備える、
方法。 - 前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整することは、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて承認制御を実行することを備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて承認制御を実行することは、前記近隣基地局が過剰な干渉を観測したということを前記第1の干渉レポートが示す場合には、前記端末へのアクセスを拒否することを備える、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整することは、前記近隣基地局が過剰な干渉を観測したということを前記第1の干渉レポートが示す場合には、端末の割当てを解除することを備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整することは、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいてデータ送信のために前記端末のスケジューリングを変えることを備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の干渉レポートは、前記近隣基地局において測定される干渉が干渉しきい値より大きいか又は小さいかを示す、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の干渉レポートは、複数の干渉しきい値に関連する前記近隣基地局において測定される干渉を伝達する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記基地局で観測される干渉を示す第2の干渉レポートを生成することと、
前記近隣基地局に対して前記第2の干渉レポートを送信することと、
をさらに備える請求項1に記載の方法。 - 干渉制御のために構成される基地局であって、
プロセッサと、
前記プロセッサと電子通信しているメモリと、
前記メモリにおいて保存される命令と、
を備え、前記命令は、
近隣基地局から第1の干渉レポートを前記基地局で受信することと、なお、前記第1の干渉レポートは、前記近隣基地局で観測される干渉を表示する;
前記基地局によって、前記近隣基地局から受信される前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて端末のためのデータ送信を調整することと;
が実行可能であり、
前記端末のためのデータ送信を調整することは、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて、前記端末に対してトラヒックチャネルを割当てることを備え、前記端末に対して割当てられる前記トラヒックチャネルは、前記近隣基地局によってサービスが提供される端末に対して割当てられるトラヒックチャネルに対して直交し、前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整することは、不利な条件下にある端末の送信電力を低減することをさらに備える、
基地局。 - 前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整することが実行可能である前記命令は、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて承認制御を実行することが実行可能である命令を備える、請求項9に記載の基地局。
- 前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて承認制御を実行することが実行可能である前記命令は、前記近隣基地局が過剰な干渉を観測したということを前記第1の干渉レポートが示す場合には、前記端末へのアクセスを拒否することが実行可能である命令を備える、請求項10に記載の基地局。
- 前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整することが実行可能である前記命令は、前記近隣基地局が過剰な干渉を観測したということを前記第1の干渉レポートが示す場合には、端末の割当てを解除することが実行可能である命令を備える、請求項9に記載の基地局。
- 前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整することが実行可能である前記命令は、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいてデータ送信のために前記端末のスケジューリングを変えることが実行可能である命令を備える、請求項9に記載の基地局。
- 前記第1の干渉レポートは、前記近隣基地局において測定される干渉が干渉しきい値より大きいか又は小さいかを示す、請求項9に記載の基地局。
- 前記第1の干渉レポートは、複数の干渉しきい値に関連する前記近隣基地局において測定される干渉を伝達する、請求項9に記載の基地局。
- 前記命令はまた、
前記基地局で観測される干渉を示す第2の干渉レポートを生成することと、
前記近隣基地局に対して前記第2の干渉レポートを送信することと、

前記端末のためのデータ送信を調整するための手段は、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて、前記端末に対してトラヒックチャネルを割当てるための手段を備え、前記端末に対して割当てられる前記トラヒックチャネルは、前記近隣基地局によってサービスが提供される端末に対して割当てられるトラヒックチャネルに対して直交し、前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整するための手段は、不利な条件下にある端末の送信電力を低減するための手段を備える、

- 前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整するための手段は、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいてデータ送信のために前記端末のスケジューリングを変えるための手段を備える、請求項17に記載の基地局。
- 基地局に近隣基地局から第1の干渉レポートを受信させるためのコードと、なお、前記第1の干渉レポートは、前記近隣基地局で観測される干渉を表示する;
前記基地局に、前記近隣基地局から受信される前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて端末のためのデータ送信を調整させるためのコードと;
を備え、
前記端末のためのデータ送信を調整するためのコードは、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて、前記端末に対してトラヒックチャネルを割当てるためのコードを備え、前記端末に対して割当てられる前記トラヒックチャネルは、前記近隣基地局によってサービスが提供される端末に対して割当てられるトラヒックチャネルに対して直交し、前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整させるためのコードは、不利な条件下にある端末の送信電力を低減させるためのコードをさらに備える、

- 前記基地局に、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整させるためのコードは、前記近隣基地局が過剰な干渉を観測したということを前記第1の干渉レポートが示す場合には、前記基地局に端末の割当てを解除させるためのコードを備える、請求項21に記載のプロセッサ可読記憶媒体。
- 前記基地局に、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいて前記端末のための前記データ送信を調整させるためのコードは、前記基地局に、前記第1の干渉レポートに基づいてデータ送信のために前記端末のスケジューリングを変えさせるためのコードを備える、請求項21に記載のプロセッサ可読記憶媒体。
