Description
* 反射率と透過率はここではSAE J964法により測定された。それらは可視スペクトルに渡っての積算値を示す。
i)1.9から2.8の範囲の高屈折率材料の一層、
ii)1.2から2の範囲の低屈折率材料の一層、
iii)3を越える屈折率を持つ半導体材料の一層、
を含む層の積層体により被覆され、
− 高屈折率材料の屈折率と低屈折率材料の屈折率が少なくとも0.2だけ異なり、
− 層i)の光学的厚さ(幾何学的厚さ×屈折率)が260nm未満、好ましくは250nm未満であり、層ii)の光学的厚さが240nm未満、好ましくは220nm未満であり、そして
− 被覆された基板が550nmで少なくとも6%、好ましくは少なくとも8%の透過率、及び550nmで45%を越える、好ましくは50%を越える反射率を持つ。
被覆基板は観察者から見て:
ガラス2mm/TiO260nm/SiO250nm/Cr20nmからなる。
この構造は次の光学的特性を与える:
550nmでの反射率 63%
550nmでの透過率 6%
400nmでの透過率 8%
700nmでの透過率 12%
800nmでの透過率 15%
他の興味ある組合せは同じ材料でそれらのそれぞれの厚さが次の範囲内にあるときに現れる。
ガラス(0.4から6mm)/TiO2(30から100nm)/SiO2(30から100nm)/Cr(10から30nm)
構造は実施例1の構造に似ているが、反射体としてクロムの代わりにシリシウム(Silicium:ケイ素)が用いられる。

次の光学的特性が得られる(図1のスペクトルデータ参照)。
550nmでの反射率 81%
550nmでの透過率 8%
400nmでの透過率 7%
700nmでの透過率 18%
800nmでの透過率 34%
可視及び近赤外スペクトルに渡るシリシウム屈折率及び吸収率はより薄い層が使用されることができるようなものである。
同時に他の興味ある組合せもまた、同じ材料によりそれらのそれぞれの厚さが次の範囲内にあるときに現れる。
ガラス(0.4から6mm)/TiO2(55から100nm)/SiO2(30から100nm)/Si(15から50nm)
ガラス/TiO2(60nm)/SiO2(60nm)/Si(30nm)
次の光学的特性が得られる(図2のスペクトルデータ参照):
550nmでの反射率 70%
550nmでの透過率 12%
400nmでの透過率 10%
700nmでの透過率 31%
800nmでの透過率 56%
被覆基板は反射光に中性色を示す(a*=−8、b*=+9、色純度は8.5%)。

Claims (15)
- 前面と背面を持つガラス基板であって、その背面上に、基板から連続的に、
i)屈折率が1.9から2.8の範囲の高屈折率材料の一層、
ii)屈折率が1.2から2の範囲の低屈折率材料の一層、
iii)3を越える屈折率を持つ半導体材料の一層、
を含む層の積層体により被覆され、
− 高屈折率材料の屈折率と低屈折率材料の屈折率が少なくとも0.2だけ異なり、
− 層i)の光学的厚さが260nm未満であり、層ii)の光学的厚さが240nm未満であり、そして
− 被覆された基板が550nmで少なくとも6%の透過率、及び550nmで45%を越える反射率を持つこと、及び層iii)がCr層またはSi層であり、層iii)がCr層であるとき、その幾何学的厚さが5と50nmの間であり、層iii)がSi層であるとき、その幾何学的厚さが5と75nmの間であることを特徴とするガラス基板。 - 層i)の光学的厚さが85と240nmの間であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス基板。
- 層ii)の光学的厚さが50と180nmの間であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のガラス基板。
- 700nmで38%以下の透過率と、700nmで少なくとも43%の反射率を持つことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
- 800nmで62%以下の透過率と、800nmで少なくとも22%の反射率を持つことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
- 半導体材料がケイ素、クロム、ゲルマニウム、チタン、アルミニウム、タングステン、ニッケルまたはこれらの材料の合金の少なくとも一つから選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
- 半導体材料が、ドープされていないまたは0から12%のAlでドープされたケイ素であり、かつ少なくとも部分的に結晶化されていることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
- 高屈折率材料が酸化チタン、酸化ニオブ、窒化アルミニウム及び窒化ケイ素の中から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
- 低屈折率材料が酸化ケイ素、フッ化マグネシウム、酸化スズの中から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
- 反射光に中性色を持つことを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
- 反射光の色が13%未満の色純度を与えることを特徴とする請求項1から10のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
- 半導体材料の層が5と100nmの間の厚さを持つことを特徴とする請求項1から11のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
- 層iii)の性質及び厚さが、基板が層iii)のみで被覆されたときにそれがその非被覆側で測定されると50%未満のLRを持つような方法で選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1から12のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
- 低屈折率材料の層が25と150nmの間の幾何学的厚さを持つことを特徴とする請求項1から13のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
- 高屈折率材料の層が20と150nmの間の幾何学的厚さを持つことを特徴とする請求項1から14のいずれか一つに記載のガラス基板。
