Claims (9)
- 溶媒と、
前記溶媒に混合されて配向剤の総質量に対して4〜8質量%の含有量を有し、アミノ基を有するモノマーに由来する繰り返し単位を含む高分子樹脂と、
前記溶媒に混合されて配向剤の総質量に対して2〜20質量%の含有量を有し、前記アミノ基に反応するエポキシ基を2つ有する下記化学式(1)で表されるシクロペンタン誘導体、下記化学式(2)で表されるシクロペンテン誘導体、下記化学式(3)で表されるシクロヘキサン誘導体、下記化学式(4)で表されるシクロヘキセン誘導体、および下記化学式(5)で表される化合物からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の架橋剤と、
を含む配向剤:
- 前記化学式(5)中のRが、置換されているかまたは非置換の炭素数1〜6の直鎖状または分岐状の炭化水素基であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の配向剤。
- 前記高分子樹脂が配向剤の総質量に対して5〜7質量%の含有量を有し、前記架橋剤が配向剤の総質量に対して10〜14質量%の含有量を有することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の配向剤。
- 前記溶媒は、γ−ブチロラクトン、エチレングリコールモノブチルエーテルおよびN−メチルピロリドンからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の配向剤。
- 互いに対向する2つの基板と、
前記2つの基板の間に介在された液晶層と、
前記2つの基板のうちの少なくとも一つの基板の上面に形成される配向膜と、を含み、
前記配向膜は、
溶媒と、
前記溶媒に混合されて配向剤の総質量に対して4〜8質量%の含有量を有し、アミノ基を有するモノマーに由来する繰り返し単位を含む高分子樹脂と、
前記溶媒に混合されて配向剤の総質量に対して2〜20質量%の含有量を有し、前記アミノ基に反応するエポキシ基を2つ有する下記化学式(1)で表されるシクロペンタン誘導体、下記化学式(2)で表されるシクロペンテン誘導体、下記化学式(3)で表されるシクロヘキサン誘導体、下記化学式(4)で表されるシクロヘキセン誘導体、および下記化学式(5)で表される化合物からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の架橋剤と、
を含む配向剤が硬化されることによって形成されていることを特徴とする、液晶表示装置:
- 前記化学式(5)中のRが、置換されているかまたは非置換の炭素数1〜6の直鎖状または分岐状の炭化水素基であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記高分子樹脂は配向剤の総質量に対して5〜7質量%の含有量を有し、前記架橋剤は配向剤の総質量に対して10〜14質量%の含有量を有することを特徴とする、請求項5または6に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記溶媒は、γ−ブチロラクトン、エチレングリコールモノブチルエーテルおよびN−メチルピロリドンからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種を含むことを特徴とする、請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記配向膜は、ラビング処理されていることを特徴とする、請求項5〜8のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示装置。
