Description
本発明の光電変換素子の素子構造を図1に示す。ここでは、電荷発生層として、正孔輸送性の有機化合物と無機化合物を有する層で構成され、電荷アクセプタ層として、電子輸送性の有機化合物で構成される例を示す。なお、本実施の形態では、正孔が発生する層を電荷発生層、電荷発生層で発生した正孔を受け取る層を電荷アクセプタ層と呼ぶこととする。
本発明の光電変換素子の素子構造を、図2に示す。ここでは、電荷発生層として、電子輸送性の有機化合物と無機化合物を有する層で構成され、電荷アクセプタ層として、正孔輸送性の有機化合物で構成される例を示す。なお、本実施の形態では、電子が発生する層を電荷発生層、電荷発生層で発生した電子を受け取る層を電荷アクセプタ層と呼ぶこととする。
本発明の光電変換素子の素子構造を、図3に示す。ここでは、正孔輸送性の有機化合物と第1の無機化合物を有する層及び電子輸送性の有機化合物と第2の無機化合物を有する層で構成される例を示す。

Claims (5)
- 基板上に第1の電極層を形成し、
前記第1の電極層上に第1の層を形成し、
前記第1の層上に接して第2の層を形成し、
前記第2の層を形成後、前記第1の電極層、前記第1の層、及び前記第2の層に少なくとも第1乃至第3の開孔を形成し、
前記第1の開孔内に第1の絶縁層を形成し、かつ、前記第3の開孔内に第2の絶縁層を形成し、
前記第2の層上及び前記第2の開孔内に、第2の電極層を形成し、
前記第2の開孔において、前記第2の電極層は前記第1の電極層に電気的に接続され、
前記第1の絶縁層と前記第2の絶縁層の間に、前記第1の電極層、前記第1の層、前記第2の層、及び前記第2の電極を有するユニットセルが形成され、
前記第1の層は正孔輸送性を有する第1の有機化合物及び第1の無機化合物を含み、
前記第2の層は電子輸送性を有する第2の有機化合物及び第2の無機化合物を含み、
前記第1の無機化合物は、周期表第4族乃至第10族のいずれかの遷移金属の酸化物であり、
前記第2の無機化合物は、アルカリ金属酸化物、アルカリ土類金属酸化物、希土類金属酸化物、アルカリ金属窒化物、アルカリ土類金属窒化物、または希土類金属窒化物であることを特徴とする光電変換素子の作製方法。 - 請求項1において、
前記第1の無機化合物は、モリブデン酸化物、バナジウム酸化物、ルテニウム酸化物、又はレニウム酸化物であることを特徴とする光電変換素子の作製方法。 - 請求項1又は2において、
前記第2の無機化合物は、リチウム酸化物、カルシウム酸化物、ナトリウム酸化物、バリウム酸化物、リチウム窒化物、マグネシウム窒化物、又はカルシウム窒化物であることを特徴とする光電変換素子の作製方法。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一において、
前記第1の有機化合物は、芳香族アミン骨格を有する有機化合物であることを特徴とする光電変換素子の作製方法。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一において、
前記第2の有機化合物は、芳香環を含むキレート配位子を有するキレート金属錯体、フェナントロリン骨格を有する有機化合物、オキサジアゾール骨格を有する有機化合物、ペリレン誘導体、ナフタレン誘導体、キノン類、メチルビオロゲン、又はフラーレンであることを特徴とする光電変換素子の作製方法。
