Description
本発明のポリカーボネート樹脂は、下記化学式1で示されるジフェノールを、ホスゲン、ハロゲンホルメートまたは炭酸ジエステルと反応させることにより調製される。
本発明の樹脂組成物の調製に用いられるオルガノシロキサン重合体は、エポキシ基を含むオルガノシロキサン重合体である、下記化学式2、3または4で表される少なくとも1種のシロキサン重合体である。
本発明においては、衝撃強度を向上させるために一般の衝撃補強剤を選択的に用いることができる。
前記コア−シェルグラフト共重合体は、芳香族ビニル化合物、シアン化ビニル化合物、C1−C8アルキル(メタ)アクリレートエステル、無水マレイン酸、マレイミド及びこれらの混合物から選択される単量体をゴム重合体にグラフト重合することによって調製される、コア−シェルグラフト共重合体である。
エチレン/アルキル(メタ)アクリレート共重合体は、下記化学式5で表される。
重量平均分子量(Mw)が22,500のビスフェノールA型ポリカーボネートを用いた。
(B−1)前記化学式3のような構造式において、bが4であり;R3がメチル基であり;R4がメチレンであり;qが0であり、25℃で測定した動的粘度が15センチストークス(cSt)である、オルガノシロキサン重合体を用いた。
MBS系コア−シェルグラフト衝撃補強剤として、三菱レイヨン社製のMetablen C223Aを用いた。
下記表1に示す成分に酸化防止剤および熱安定剤を添加して通常の混合機で混合し、混合物をL/D=35、Φ=45mmの二軸押出器を用いてペレットに押出した。樹脂のペレットを10oz射出成形器を用いて280〜300℃で試片に成形した。
(1)常温アイゾッド衝撃強度:常温ノッチアイゾッド衝撃強度は、1/4”の厚さの試片について、前記試片を23℃、相対湿度50%で48時間放置した後、ASTM D256に従って測定した。
Claims (14)
- (A)熱可塑性ポリカーボネート樹脂100重量部;及び
(B)エポキシ基を含むオルガノシロキサン重合体0.1〜30重量部;
を含み、高い低温衝撃強度および高い機械的強度を有し、
前記(B)エポキシ基を含むオルガノシロキサン重合体は、下記化学式2、3および4で表される少なくとも1種である、ポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物:
- 前記(B)エポキシ基を含むオルガノシロキサン重合体のR1、R3及びR5は、互いに独立して、水素原子、メチル、エチル、プロピル、イソプロピル、ブチル、sec−ブチル、t−ブチル、イソブチル、イソアミルまたはt−アミルである、請求項1に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物。
- 前記(B)エポキシ基を含むオルガノシロキサン重合体のR2、R4及びR6は、メチレン、エチレン、プロピレン、イソプロピレン、ブチレン、sec−ブチレンまたはt−ブチレンである、請求項1または2に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物。
- 前記エポキシ基を含むオルガノシロキサン重合体のc:dの比が99.5:0.5〜55:45である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物。
- 前記(B)エポキシ基を含むオルガノシロキサン重合体の粘度は、25℃で、1〜50,000cStである、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物。
- ASTM D256に従って、1/4”の試片に対して23℃および−30℃で測定した衝撃強度が、それぞれ18kgf・cm/cm以上および15kgf・cm/cm以上であり、
ASTM D790に従って、厚さ1/4”の試片を用いて測定した曲げ弾性率が、18,000kgf/cm2以上であり、
2mm×50mm×200mmのサイズの平板試片を−30℃で48時間放置した後に測定した脆性破壊率が45%以下である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物。 - 10重量部以下の(C)衝撃補強剤をさらに含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物。
- 前記(C)衝撃補強剤は、芳香族ビニル化合物、シアン化ビニル化合物、C1−C8アルキル(メタ)アクリレートエステル、無水マレイン酸、マレイミド及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される単量体をゴム重合体にグラフト重合することによって調製されるコア−シェルグラフト共重合体である、請求項7に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物。
- 前記コア−シェルグラフト共重合体は、スチレン、α−メチルスチレン、ハロゲンまたはC1−C8アルキル置換スチレン、C1−C8アルキルメタクリレートエステル、C1−C8アルキルアクリレートエステル、アクリロニトリル、メタクリロニトリル、無水マレイン酸、およびC1−C4アルキルまたはフェニルN−置換マレイミドから選択される少なくとも1種の単量体5〜95重量%を、ブタジエンゴム、アクリルゴム、エチレン/プロピレンゴム、スチレン/ブタジエンゴム、アクリロニトリル/ブタジエンゴム、イソプレンゴム、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエン単量体(EPDM)、ポリオルガノシロキサン/ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートゴム複合体、およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種5〜95重量%にグラフト重合することによって調製される、請求項8に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物。
- ASTM D256に従って、1/4”の試片に対して23℃および−30℃で測定した衝撃強度が、それぞれ75kgf・cm/cm以上および27kgf・cm/cm以上であり、
ASTM D790に従って、厚さ1/4”の試片を用いて測定した曲げ弾性率が18,000kgf/cm2以上であり、
2mm×50mm×200mmのサイズの平板試片を−30℃で48時間放置した後に測定した脆性破壊率が10%以下である、請求項9に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物。 - 前記(C)衝撃補強剤は、下記化学式5で表されるエチレン/アルキル(メタ)アクリレート共重合体である、請求項7〜10のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物:
- 難燃剤、難燃補助剤、滑剤、離型剤、核形成剤、帯電防止剤、安定剤、補強材、無機充填剤、顔料、色素及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される添加剤をさらに含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物から製造された、成形品。
- 熱可塑性ポリカーボネート樹脂と、下記化学式2、3または4で表されるエポキシ基を含むオルガノシロキサン重合体とを溶融混練する段階と、
溶融混練した混合物を押出する段階と、
を含む、ポリカーボネート−ポリシロキサン共重合体樹脂組成物の製造方法:
