Description
1.流入口を有する第1ケース構成部材と、前記第1ケース構成部材との間で濾過室を形成し、流出口を有する第2ケース構成部材と、前記濾過室内に収容され、ひだ折部及び該ひだ折部のひだ折方向の両端に連なる平坦部を有するひだ折状の濾材と、を備えるフィルタの製造方法であって、
前記第2ケース構成部材は、レーザ透光性樹脂を用いてなり、2方向又は3方向を開放した箱状の本体及び該本体に接合されて前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁と接触する側壁を有し、前記濾材は、レーザ吸収性樹脂を用いてなり、
前記第1ケース構成部材及び前記第2ケース構成部材のそれぞれには、前記濾材の前記平坦部を挟持する挟持部が設けられており、
前記濾材がセットされた前記本体に対して側方から前記側壁を接合することで、前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁を前記側壁の内壁面に圧接させて前記第2ケース構成部材をなす工程(A)と、
前記第1ケース構成部材及び前記第2ケース構成部材の前記挟持部に前記濾材の前記平坦部を挟持させた状態で、前記第2ケース構成部材の該挟持部に向かって挟持面と交差する方向にレーザ光を照射して前記濾材の前記平坦部を前記該挟持部に溶着する工程(B)と、
前記第2ケース構成部材の前記側壁に前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁を接触させた状態で、前記第2ケース構成部材の該側壁に向かって壁面と交差する方向にレーザ光を照射して前記濾材の前記ひだ折部を前記側壁に溶着する工程(C)と、を備えることを特徴とするフィルタの製造方法。
2.前記第2ケース構成部材は、上方及び側方の2方向を開放した箱状であり且つ前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁と接触する一方の側壁を有する本体と、該本体に接合されて前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁と接触する他方の側壁と、を有し、
前記一方の側壁及び前記他方の側壁の内壁面には、前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁が係止する係止部が設けられており、
前記工程(A)は、前記本体に対して前記濾材をセットして前記本体の前記一方の側壁の前記係止部に前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁を係止させ、次に、前記本体に対して側方から前記他方の側壁を接合することで、前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁を前記他方の側壁の前記係止部に係止させるとともに前記他方の側壁の内壁面に圧接させて前記第2ケース構成部材をなす上記1.記載のフィルタの製造方法。
3.前記第1ケース構成部材及び前記第2ケース構成部材のうちの少なくとも一方のケース構成部材の前記挟持部には、前記濾材の前記平坦部に係止する突起が設けられている上記1.又は2.に記載のフィルタの製造方法。
4.前記フィルタは自動変速機用である上記1.乃至3.のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタの製造方法。
5.前記工程(C)では、前記レーザ光を前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁に沿ってひだ折状に移動させつつ照射する上記1.乃至4.のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタの製造方法。
また、前記側壁の内壁面に係止部が設けられている場合は、係止部と濾材のひだ折部の側縁との係止によって、ケース構成部材に対して濾材のひだ折部の側縁を正確な溶着位置に位置決めした状態で溶着することができる。
また、前記第1ケース構成部材及び前記第2ケース構成部材のうちの少なくとも一方のケース構成部材の前記挟持部に突起が設けられている場合は、突起と濾材の平坦部との係止によって、ケース構成部材に対する濾材の抜けを抑制しつつ濾材の平坦部を溶着することができる。
さらに、自動変速機用である場合は、自動変速機用として好適なフィルタを提供することができる。
また、前記第2工程では、前記レーザ光を前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁に沿ってひだ折状に移動させつつ照射する場合は、比較的低出力のレーザを用いて濾材のひだ折部の側縁を第2ケース構成部材に溶着することができる。
本実施形態1.に係るフィルタは、流入口を有する第1ケース構成部材と、第1ケース構成部材との間で濾過室を形成し、流出口を有する第2ケース構成部材と、濾過室内に収容され、ひだ折部及び該ひだ折部のひだ折方向の両端に連なる平坦部を有するひだ折状の濾材と、を備えるフィルタであって、第2ケース構成部材は、レーザ透光性樹脂を用いてなり、濾材のひだ折部の側縁と接触する側壁を有し、濾材は、レーザ吸収性樹脂を用いてなり、第1ケース構成部材及び第2ケース構成部材のそれぞれには、濾材の平坦部を挟持する挟持部が設けられており、濾材の平坦部は、第2ケース構成部材の挟持部の挟持面と交差する方向に照射されるレーザ光(L1)により挟持部に溶着されており、濾材のひだ折部の側縁は、第2ケース構成部材の側壁の壁面と交差する方向に照射されるレーザ光(L2)により側壁に溶着されていることを特徴とする(例えば、図2及び図3参照)。
本実施形態2.に係るフィルタの製造方法は、上記実施形態1.のフィルタの製造方法であって、第1ケース構成部材及び第2ケース構成部材の挟持部に濾材の平坦部を挟持させた状態で、第2ケース構成部材の挟持部に向かって挟持面と交差する方向にレーザ光を照射する第1工程と、第2ケース構成部材の側壁に濾材のひだ折部の側縁を接触させた状態で、第2ケース構成部材の側壁に向かって壁面と交差する方向にレーザ光を照射する第2工程と、を備えることを特徴とする。
本実施例に係るオイルフィルタ1は、図1〜図3に示すように、流入口2aを有する下ケース2(本発明に係る「第1ケース構成部材」として例示する。)と、流出口3aを有する上ケース3(本発明に係る「第2ケース構成部材」として例示する。)と、これら上下ケース2,3の間に形成される濾過室4内に収容されるひだ折状の濾材5と、を備えている。
次に、上記構成のオイルフィルタ1の製造方法について説明する。
先ず、図4に示すように、上ケース3を構成する本体15を上下を反転させて、その本体15に対して上方から濾材5をセットする。このとき、本体15の一方の側壁11bの係止部19に濾材5のひだ折部13の側縁13aを係止させる。次に、図5に示すように、本体15に対して側方から他方の側壁11aを接着、溶着、嵌合等の適宜接合手段で接合する。このとき、濾材5のひだ折部13の側縁13aは、係止部19に係止されて側壁11aの内壁面に圧接された状態となる。次いで、図6に示すように、上ケース3に対して下ケース2を上方からセットし、両ケース2,3を接着、溶着、嵌合等の適宜接合手段で接合してフィルタ仮組体(図示省略)とする。
以上より、本実施例のオイルフィルタによると、上下ケース2,3の挟持部17,18に濾材5の平坦部14を挟持させた状態で、上ケース3の挟持部17に向かって挟持面と略直交する方向にレーザ光L1を照射して、濾材5の平坦部14を上ケース3の挟持部18に溶着させると共に、上ケース3の側壁11a,11bに濾材5のひだ折部13の側縁13aを接触させた状態で、上ケース3の側壁11a,11bに向かって壁面と略直交する方向にレーザ光L2を照射して、濾材5のひだ折部13の側縁13aを上ケース3の側壁11a,11bに溶着させるようにしたので、ひだ折状の濾材5の平坦部14及びひだ折部13の側縁13aを上ケース3に直接的に溶着できると共に、濾材5のひだ折部13の側縁13aを挟持する部位を設ける必要がない。そのため、従来のように樹脂製の保持枠を備える濾材を採用するものに比べて、濾過効率を高めつつ小型軽量化を図ることができる。また、レーザ溶着の前工程として濾材5のひだ折部13の側縁13aを上ケース3の側壁11a,11bに接触させればよく、従来のように濾材のひだ折部の側縁をケース構成部材の各くし歯状部の間に挟持させるものに比べて、レーザ溶着の前工程作業を簡素化でき生産性を高めることができる。
Claims (5)
- 流入口を有する第1ケース構成部材と、前記第1ケース構成部材との間で濾過室を形成し、流出口を有する第2ケース構成部材と、前記濾過室内に収容され、ひだ折部及び該ひだ折部のひだ折方向の両端に連なる平坦部を有するひだ折状の濾材と、を備えるフィルタの製造方法であって、
前記第2ケース構成部材は、レーザ透光性樹脂を用いてなり、2方向又は3方向を開放した箱状の本体及び該本体に接合されて前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁と接触する側壁を有し、前記濾材は、レーザ吸収性樹脂を用いてなり、
前記第1ケース構成部材及び前記第2ケース構成部材のそれぞれには、前記濾材の前記平坦部を挟持する挟持部が設けられており、
前記濾材がセットされた前記本体に対して側方から前記側壁を接合することで、前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁を前記側壁の内壁面に圧接させて前記第2ケース構成部材をなす工程(A)と、
前記第1ケース構成部材及び前記第2ケース構成部材の前記挟持部に前記濾材の前記平坦部を挟持させた状態で、前記第2ケース構成部材の該挟持部に向かって挟持面と交差する方向にレーザ光を照射して前記濾材の前記平坦部を前記該挟持部に溶着する工程(B)と、
前記第2ケース構成部材の前記側壁に前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁を接触させた状態で、前記第2ケース構成部材の該側壁に向かって壁面と交差する方向にレーザ光を照射して前記濾材の前記ひだ折部を前記側壁に溶着する工程(C)と、を備えることを特徴とするフィルタの製造方法。 - 前記第2ケース構成部材は、上方及び側方の2方向を開放した箱状であり且つ前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁と接触する一方の側壁を有する本体と、該本体に接合されて前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁と接触する他方の側壁と、を有し、
前記一方の側壁及び前記他方の側壁の内壁面には、前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁が係止する係止部が設けられており、
前記工程(A)は、前記本体に対して前記濾材をセットして前記本体の前記一方の側壁の前記係止部に前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁を係止させ、次に、前記本体に対して側方から前記他方の側壁を接合することで、前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁を前記他方の側壁の前記係止部に係止させるとともに前記他方の側壁の内壁面に圧接させて前記第2ケース構成部材をなす請求項1記載のフィルタの製造方法。 - 前記第1ケース構成部材及び前記第2ケース構成部材のうちの少なくとも一方のケース構成部材の前記挟持部には、前記濾材の前記平坦部に係止する突起が設けられている請求項1又は2に記載のフィルタの製造方法。
- 前記フィルタは自動変速機用である請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタの製造方法。
- 前記工程(C)では、前記レーザ光を前記濾材の前記ひだ折部の側縁に沿ってひだ折状に移動させつつ照射する請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタの製造方法。
