Description
1.流出口を有する樹脂製の上側ケースと、
流入口を有する樹脂製の下側ケースと、
濾材及び該濾材の周縁部を保持し且つ前記上側ケース及び前記下側ケースの間に挟持される樹脂製の保持枠を有するフィルタエレメントと、を備える自動変速機用流体フィルタであって、
前記上側ケース及び前記下側ケースのそれぞれは、前記保持枠の対向する板状の壁部のそれぞれに接合される一対の接合部を備え、
前記上側ケース及び前記下側ケースのうちの少なくとも一方のケースは、該一方のケースの前記一対の接合部を連絡し且つ該一方のケースの外方に膨らむ縦断面円弧状の連絡壁を備え、
前記保持枠の前記壁部は、前記自動変速機用流体フィルタの濾過室を形成するとともに、前記自動変速機用流体フィルタの外側面を形成しており、
前記一対の接合部のそれぞれは、その外端側が前記保持枠の前記壁部の上下方向の端面側に接合され且つ前記一方のケースの内側に向かって横方に延びる第1横壁と、該第1横壁の内端側から立ち上がる立壁と、該立壁の立上がり端側から前記一方のケースの内側に向かって横方に延びる第2横壁と、を有し、該第2横壁の内端側に前記連絡壁の外端側が接続されており、
前記一方のケースはレーザ透過性樹脂からなり、前記保持枠はレーザ吸収性樹脂からなり、前記接合部は、前記保持枠の前記壁部に前記第1横壁の上方からのレーザ溶着により接合されていることを特徴とする自動変速機用流体フィルタ。

前記上側ケース及び前記下側ケースのそれぞれは、前記保持枠の対向する板状の壁部のそれぞれに接合される一対の接合部を備え、
前記上側ケース及び前記下側ケースのうちの少なくとも一方のケースは、該一方のケースの前記一対の接合部を連絡し且つ該一方のケースの外方に膨らむ縦断面円弧状の連絡壁を備え、
前記保持枠の前記壁部は、前記自動変速機用流体フィルタの濾過室を形成するとともに、前記自動変速機用流体フィルタの外側面を形成しており、
前記一対の接合部のそれぞれは、その外端側が前記保持枠の前記壁部の上下方向の端面側に接合され且つ前記一方のケースの内側に向かって横方に延びる第1横壁と、該第1横壁の内端側から立ち上がる立壁と、を有し、該立壁の立上がり端側に前記連絡壁の外端側が接続されており、
前記一方のケースはレーザ透過性樹脂からなり、前記保持枠はレーザ吸収性樹脂からなり、前記接合部は、前記保持枠の前記壁部に前記第1横壁の上方からのレーザ溶着により接合されていることを特徴とする自動変速機用流体フィルタ。
3.前記フィルタエレメントは、前記保持枠にひだ折状の前記濾材の周縁部を一体成形してなり、前記保持枠の前記壁部は、前記濾材のひだ折高さより大きな高さを有するとともに、その上端が前記濾材の上端より上方に位置し且つその下端が前記濾材の下端より下方に位置しており、前記濾材の周縁部は、前記第1横壁に対して上下方向から見て重なっている上記1.又は2.に記載の自動変速機用流体フィルタ。
また、前記一対の接合部のそれぞれが、第1横壁と、立壁と、第2横壁と、を有し、該第2横壁の内端側に前記連絡壁の外端側が接続されている場合は、立壁によりケースにかかる応力集中箇所を分散させつつ第1横壁から遠ざけることができ、ケースの剛性(特に接合強度)を更に向上させることができる。また、第1横壁及び第2横壁を治具で押圧した状態で第1横壁と保持枠の壁部とを接合することができ、ケースの成形性を更に向上させることができる。さらに、第1横壁及び第2横壁を治具で押圧した際に、立壁のたわみにより第1横壁が保持枠の壁部に容易に追従されるため、ケースの成形性を更に向上させることができる。
また、前記一対の接合部のそれぞれが、第1横壁と、立壁と、を有し、該立壁の立上がり端側に前記連絡壁の外端側が接続されている場合は、立壁によりケースにかかる応力集中箇所を分散させつつ第1横壁から遠ざけることができ、ケースの剛性(特に接合強度)を更に向上させることができる。
さらに、前記一方のケースがレーザ透過性樹脂からなり、前記保持枠がレーザ吸収性樹脂からなり、前記接合部が、前記保持枠の前記壁部にレーザ溶着により接合されている場合は、ケースと保持枠とを容易に接合できるとともに、透明又は半透明のケースを採用してもケースの外観の見栄えに優れる。
本実施形態1.に係る自動変速機用流体フィルタは、流出口を有する樹脂製の上側ケース(2)と、流入口を有する樹脂製の下側ケース(3)と、濾材(4)及び濾材の周縁部を保持し且つ上側ケース及び下側ケースの間に挟持される樹脂製の保持枠(5)を有するフィルタエレメント(6)と、を備える自動変速機用流体フィルタであって、上側ケース及び下側ケースのうちの少なくとも一方のケースは、保持枠の対向する壁部(5a)のそれぞれに接合される一対の接合部(8,10)と、一対の接合部を連絡し且つ一方のケースの外方に膨らむ縦断面円弧状の連絡壁(7,17)と、を備えることを特徴とする(例えば、図3等参照)。
本実施例に係るオイルフィルタ1は、図1〜図4に示すように、流出口2aを有するレーザ透過性樹脂からなる上側ケース2と、流入口3aを有するレーザ透過性樹脂からなる下側ケース3と、濾材4及び濾材4の周縁部を保持し且つ上側ケース2及び下側ケース3の間に挟持されるレーザ吸収性樹脂からなる保持枠5を有するフィルタエレメント6と、を備えている。これら上側ケース2及び下側ケース3のそれぞれは、平面略矩形状に形成されている。
次に、上記構成のオイルフィルタ1の製造方法について説明する。図5に示すように、上側ケース2の接合部8(9)を保持枠5の壁部5a(5b)の上端面に当接し、その当接状態で上側ケース2の第1横壁8a(9a)及び第2横壁8c(9c)を治具15a,15bで下方に向かって押圧する。その押圧状態で治具15a、15bの隙間を介して上方からレーザLを上側ケース2の全周にわたって照射する。すると、レーザLは、上側ケース2の第1横壁8a(9a)を透過して保持枠5の上端面に形成された凸部18に至り、この凸部18が溶融されるとともに上側ケース2の第1横壁8a(9a)が溶融され、上側ケース2の第1横壁8a(9a)と保持枠5とがレーザ溶着により接合される。なお、下側ケース3は、上述の上側ケース2と略同様の方法にて保持枠5にレーザ溶着にて接合されるものとする。
本実施例のオイルフィルタ1によると、ケース2,3は、保持枠5の対向する壁部5aのそれぞれに接合される一対の接合部8,10と、一対の接合部8,10を連絡し且つケース2,3の外方に膨らむ縦断面円弧状の連絡壁7,17と、を備えるので、ケース2,3の内表面側にリブを設けることなく、縦断面円弧状の連絡壁7,17によりケース2,3の剛性を向上させることができる。また、ケース2,3の肉厚は略一様となるため、ケース成形時の樹脂流動性が高められ且つ樹脂使用量を低減でき、ケース2,3の成形性を向上させることができる。また、フィルタ使用時にケース2,3内での流体の流れ性が高められ圧力損失を低減できる。さらに、ケース2,3の外観の見栄えに優れる。
Claims (3)
- 流出口を有する樹脂製の上側ケースと、
流入口を有する樹脂製の下側ケースと、
濾材及び該濾材の周縁部を保持し且つ前記上側ケース及び前記下側ケースの間に挟持される樹脂製の保持枠を有するフィルタエレメントと、を備える自動変速機用流体フィルタであって、
前記上側ケース及び前記下側ケースのそれぞれは、前記保持枠の対向する板状の壁部のそれぞれに接合される一対の接合部を備え、
前記上側ケース及び前記下側ケースのうちの少なくとも一方のケースは、該一方のケースの前記一対の接合部を連絡し且つ該一方のケースの外方に膨らむ縦断面円弧状の連絡壁を備え、
前記保持枠の前記壁部は、前記自動変速機用流体フィルタの濾過室を形成するとともに、前記自動変速機用流体フィルタの外側面を形成しており、
前記一対の接合部のそれぞれは、その外端側が前記保持枠の前記壁部の上下方向の端面側に接合され且つ前記一方のケースの内側に向かって横方に延びる第1横壁と、該第1横壁の内端側から立ち上がる立壁と、該立壁の立上がり端側から前記一方のケースの内側に向かって横方に延びる第2横壁と、を有し、該第2横壁の内端側に前記連絡壁の外端側が接続されており、
前記一方のケースはレーザ透過性樹脂からなり、前記保持枠はレーザ吸収性樹脂からなり、前記接合部は、前記保持枠の前記壁部に前記第1横壁の上方からのレーザ溶着により接合されていることを特徴とする自動変速機用流体フィルタ。 - 流出口を有する樹脂製の上側ケースと、
流入口を有する樹脂製の下側ケースと、
濾材及び該濾材の周縁部を保持し且つ前記上側ケース及び前記下側ケースの間に挟持される樹脂製の保持枠を有するフィルタエレメントと、を備える自動変速機用流体フィルタであって、
前記上側ケース及び前記下側ケースのそれぞれは、前記保持枠の対向する板状の壁部のそれぞれに接合される一対の接合部を備え、
前記上側ケース及び前記下側ケースのうちの少なくとも一方のケースは、該一方のケースの前記一対の接合部を連絡し且つ該一方のケースの外方に膨らむ縦断面円弧状の連絡壁を備え、
前記保持枠の前記壁部は、前記自動変速機用流体フィルタの濾過室を形成するとともに、前記自動変速機用流体フィルタの外側面を形成しており、
前記一対の接合部のそれぞれは、その外端側が前記保持枠の前記壁部の上下方向の端面側に接合され且つ前記一方のケースの内側に向かって横方に延びる第1横壁と、該第1横壁の内端側から立ち上がる立壁と、を有し、該立壁の立上がり端側に前記連絡壁の外端側が接続されており、
前記一方のケースはレーザ透過性樹脂からなり、前記保持枠はレーザ吸収性樹脂からなり、前記接合部は、前記保持枠の前記壁部に前記第1横壁の上方からのレーザ溶着により接合されていることを特徴とする自動変速機用流体フィルタ。 - 前記フィルタエレメントは、前記保持枠にひだ折状の前記濾材の周縁部を一体成形してなり、前記保持枠の前記壁部は、前記濾材のひだ折高さより大きな高さを有するとともに、その上端が前記濾材の上端より上方に位置し且つその下端が前記濾材の下端より下方に位置しており、前記濾材の周縁部は、前記第1横壁に対して上下方向から見て重なっている請求項1又は2に記載の自動変速機用流体フィルタ。
