Claims (2)
- 外周に転動溝を有する内輪と内周に転動溝を有する外輪を備え、内輪外周の転動溝と外輪内周の転動溝との間に複数個の転動体が保持されてなる転がり軸受であって、
前記転動体が高炭素クロム軸受鋼で構成され、
前記内輪および前記外輪の内の少なくとも一方が、組成が重量比で、C:0.6〜0.75%、Si:1%以下、Mn:1%以下、P:0.03%以下、S:0.02%以下、Cr:11.5〜13.5%、Mo:0.3%以下、V:0.15%以下、Ti:15PPM以下、O:15PPM以下、残部がFeおよび不可避的に混入する不純物のマルテンサイト系ステンレス鋼が最終冷間加工度25〜30%で冷間引抜き加工され、硬度がHRC9〜HRC29で、かつ共晶炭化物の径が20μm以下で、横断面の中心から外周に至る硬度のバラツキが10%以内とされたマルテンサイト系ステンレス棒鋼を材料として、該マルテンサイト系ステンレス棒鋼から加工されると共に前記転動溝が切削加工され、次に焼入れ熱処理が行われて表面硬度がHRC58〜62とされ、その後に、前記切削加工された転動溝が取りしろ7〜10μmで研磨加工されてなり、
前記転動体の表面硬度が、前記マルテンサイト系ステンレス鋼で構成された、前記内輪および前記外輪の内の少なくとも一方の表面硬度の1.08〜1.10倍で、
前記転動体の線膨張係数が、前記マルテンサイト系ステンレス鋼で構成された、前記内輪および前記外輪の内の少なくとも一方の線膨張係数の1.28〜1.30倍であることを特徴とする転がり軸受。 - 当該転がり軸受は、ハードディスクドライブのピボット用ミニチュア転がり軸受である請求項1記載の転がり軸受け。
