Claims (1)
- 高周波発生装置が出力する電磁波により燃焼室内に生成されるプラズマと点火プラグによる火花放電とを反応させて混合気に着火する火花点火式内燃機関であって、
電磁波を燃焼室内まで導く電磁波供給路が燃焼室内側の端部を誘電体で閉鎖されてシリンダヘッドに設けられてなり、
誘電体は、機関の運転中は所定温度を上回る温度に維持され、
誘電体が、燃焼室内に面する表面側に、通過する電磁波に反応して発熱する加熱層を、その燃焼室内側表面を被覆されて備えている火花点火式内燃機関。
