Claims (5)
- 表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルの表示面側に接続され、該表示パネルの側面側に折り曲げられるフレキシブル基板と、
前記フレキシブル基板の、前記表示パネルの側面に対向する部分に搭載される電気回路部品と、
前記表示パネルの側面に対向する平面部が山部と谷部とを有する側部を備え、前記山部が前記電気回路部品を覆う筐体と、を備える表示装置において、
前記筐体の前記側部の内側の面に、前記筐体よりも柔らかい材料からなる略平坦な保護部材が固定され、
前記保護部材は、前記電気回路部品に対向する位置において、前記筐体の前記側部の前記山部からはみ出す突出部を備え、かつ、隣り合う前記突出部の間の部分は、前記筐体の前記側部の前記谷部と同じ形状であることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記保護部材は、前記山部と谷部とを有する側部を備える前記筐体よりも電気抵抗が大きい材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記保護部材は、基材となる樹脂に、該樹脂よりも熱伝導率の大きい部材を添加した材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記保護部材は、シート状であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示装置は液晶表示装置であり、前記表示パネルの背面側にバックライトを備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか一に記載の表示装置。
