Claims (4)
- 照明部により照射されることで得られた原稿面からの反射光を原稿画像として撮像素子の受光面に結像させる画像読取装置であって、
前記照明部は、前記原稿面に沿って走行する走行体と、この走行体に取り付けられて前記原稿面に向けて光を照射するもので、前記走行体の走行方向と直交する主走査方向に伸びる光源と、この光源に対向して配設されることにより当該光源から出力される光を前記走行体の走行方向である副走査方向に集光する集光体とを含み、
前記集光体は、前記主走査方向に伸びる長尺状の部材からなり、前記光源と対向する底面と、前記原稿面と対向する集光レンズ部と、前記底面と前記集光レンズ部との間の導光部と、前記主走査方向の両端の端面とを含み、前記端面が前記底面に対してなす角が鈍角である上に、前記端面が凸曲面である
ことを特徴とする画像読取装置。 - 前記集光体は、前記端面に前記底面から入力された前記光源から出力される光を内側に反射させる反射膜が形成されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の画像読取装置。
- 前記光源は、前記主走査方向に沿ってライン状に配列された複数の発光ダイオードにより構成されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の画像読取装置。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の画像読取装置と、前記撮像素子により得た画像データに基づいて静電潜像の書き込みを行う感光体ドラムとを備えたことを特徴とする画像形成装置。
