Description
上記のように、本発明の態様によるリチウム2次電池は電解質を微細セグメントに分割することにより、デンドライトの成長を大きく抑制し、そしてエネルギー密度を著しく向上させる。また、リチウム2次電池は、種々の選択の機会を提供するために、固体電解質の代わりに液体電解液を用いる場合、漏れを減少させる。電池に圧縮が加えられる場合、区画された電解質構造を有するリチウム2次電池は、安定性を改善させるために、力を分散させそして複数の隔壁によって支えられる。
Claims (8)
- アノードとカソードとの間で形成されている電解質を、リチウムイオンを通過させない材料からなる隔壁を介して複数の領域に分割して、互いに接触しないようにしたリチウム2次電池であって、前記複数の隔壁の間隔が前記アノードと前記カソードとの間の間隔より小さいことを特徴とする、リチウム2次電池。
- 前記隔壁が、前記電解質をマトリックス型に区画するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のリチウム2次電池。
- 前記複数の隔壁の間隔が、前記アノードと前記カソードとの間の間隔の5分の1より小さい、請求項1に記載のリチウム2次電池。
- 前記隔壁がパイプ形態を有し、前記アノードと前記カソードとの間に充填されかつ前記アノードおよび前記カソードと直接接触する電解質のパイプが、前記電解質を互いに接触していない複数の領域に分割している、請求項1に記載のリチウム2次電池。
- 前記複数の電解質のパイプが、非電解質材料で被覆されている、請求項4に記載のリチウム2次電池。
- 前記アノードと前記カソードが、前記分割された電解質に対応した大きさの個々の部分品に分割され、そして前記分割された部分品の個々が、相互に電気的に接触する、請求項1に記載のリチウム2次電池。
- 前記隔壁が前記アノードと前記カソードとに、予め決められた深さまで進入するように延在して、前記電解質を分割していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム2時電池。
- 前記隔壁が、前記アノードと前記カソードとの間において、多孔質膜により形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
