Description
Claims (4)
- 表層と中間層と下層が層状に圧延された圧延鋼板の該表層に切刃稜を加工形成してなる刃部材を有する平板状刃物であって、前記表層が高硬度の高速度工具鋼であり、前記中間層が高速度工具鋼より焼き入れ硬化能の低い合金鋼であり、前記下層が焼き入れ硬化能のほとんどない鋼材であり、前記表層の厚さは0.1mm以上でありかつ前記中間層及び下層の厚さより小さく、前記中間層の厚さが最も大きいことを特徴とする平板状刃物。
- 前記中間層が複数の鋼板を積層したものであり、少なくとも前記表層に接する層が前記合金鋼で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の平板状刃物。
- 前記表層への切刃稜の加工形成が、前記刃部材に焼き入れ焼き戻しの熱処理を行うことにより前記表層を刃物に適した硬度に硬化させた後に行われることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の平板状刃物。
- 前記表層への切刃稜の加工形成が、前記刃部材に焼き入れ焼き戻しの熱処理を行うことにより前記表層を刃物に適した硬度に硬化させた後、さらに該刃部材の少なくとも前記下層側を別体の台部材にろう材又は接着剤を用いて接合させた後に行われることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の平板状刃物。
