Description
がって、完全な硬化が終わることである。この期間は一般的に数日間であり、この間、さらなる加工処理またはシールされた物体の包装のためのオプション作業が制限される。
(a)湿気架橋性ポリウレタン系放射線硬化性溶融体の層を、物体の表面の少なくとも一部分に適用する工程;および
(b)溶融体層に放射線照射する工程
を含む、物体の表面の少なくとも一部分をシーリング方法によって達成される。
本発明は、さらに、表面上の少なくとも一部分に、湿気架橋性ポリウレタン系放射線硬化性溶融体の層で構成されるシーリング層を有する物体を提供する。
反応性溶融体層は、好ましくは5μm〜200μm、より好ましくは20μm〜200μm、特に好ましくは80μm〜120μmの範囲の厚さを有する。
1.)1種類以上のポリイソシアネートを、
2.)少なくとも1種類のポリオールおよび
3.)UV放射線重合性または電子放射線重合性基を含有する少なくとも1種類の化合物、好ましくは、イソシアネート反応性基をさらに含有する化合物
4.)所望により開始剤、ならびに
5.)所望により添加剤、例えば、安定化剤、可塑剤、接着性向上剤、充填剤、艶消し剤など
を反応させることによって得られ得る。
レート、2−ヒドロキシプロピルアクリレート、2−ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート、3−ヒドロキシプロピルアクリレートもしくは3−ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレートまたはその2種類以上の混合物が挙げられる。
ネート(XDI)、テトラメチルキシリレンジイソシアネート(TMXDI)、4,4’−ジフェニルジメチルメタンジイソシアネート、また、ジ−およびテトラアルキルジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、4,4’−ジベンジルジイソシアネート、1,3−フェニレンジイソシアネート、1,4−フェニレンジイソシアネート、2,4−および2,6−トリレンジイソシアネート(TDI)ならびにその混合物、より具体的には、約20重量%の2,4−トリレンジイソシアネートおよび80重量%の2,6−トリレンジイソシアネートを含む混合物、また、TDI−ウレトジオン、より具体的には、二量体1−メチル−2,4−フェニレン−ジイソシアネート(TDI−U)およびTDI−尿素;1−メチル−2,4−ジイソシアナートシクロヘキサン、1,6−ジイソシアナート−2,2,4−トリメチルヘキサン、1,6−ジイソシアナート−2,4,4−トリメチルヘキサン、1−イソシアナート−3−イソシアナートメチル−3,5,5−トリメチルシクロヘキサン(IPDI)ならびにその異性体および誘導体、特に、二量体、三量体および重合体、また、IPDI−イソシアヌレート(IPDI−T)、塩素化および臭素化ジイソシアネート、リン含有ジイソシアネート、4,4’−ジイソシアナートフェニルパーフルオロエタン、テトラメトキシブタン−1,4−ジイソシアネート、1,4−ブタンジイソシアネート、1,6−ヘキサンジイソシアネート(HDI)、シクロヘキサン−1,4−ジイソシアネート、エチレン−ジイソシアネート、フタル酸ビスイソシアナートエチル;反応性ハロゲン原子を含有するポリイソシアネート、例えば、1−クロロメチルフェニル−2,4−ジイソシアネート、1−ブロモエチルフェニル2,6−ジイソシアネート、3,3−ビスクロロメチルエーテル4,4’−ジフェニルジイソシアネートなどである。また、例えば、2molのヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートと1モルのチオジグリコールまたはジヒドロキシジヘキシルスルフィドとの反応によって得られ得る種類の硫黄含有ポリイソシアネートも有用である。他のジイソシアネートは、トリメチルヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、1,4−ジイソシアナートブタン、1,2−ジイソシアナートドデカンおよびダイマー脂肪酸ジイソシアネートである。
MBP(製造業者:日本化薬)、Esacure BO(製造業者:Fratelli
Lamberti)、Trigonal 14(製造業者:Akzo)、Irgacure TMシリーズ、Darocure TMシリーズもしくはSpeedcure TMシリーズ(製造業者:Ciba−Geigy)の光開始剤、Darocure TM 1173および/またはFi−4(製造業者:Eastman)である。これらの中でも、Irgacure TM 651、Irgacure TM 369、Irgacure TM 184、Irgacure TM 907、Irgacure TM 1850、Irgacure TM 1173 (Darocure TM 1173)、Irgacure TM 1116、Speedcure TM EDB、Speedcure TM ITX、Irgacure TM 784もしくはIrgacure TM 2959またはこれらの2種類以上の混合物が特に好適性を有する。
その後、イソシアネート反応性基を有する放射線硬化性化合物を、イソシアネート末端プレポリマーAと反応させる。また、この第2工程では、1種類または複数種類の開始剤、適切な場合は、イソシアネート反応性基を含有しない上記の化合物、また、適切な場合
は、安定化剤、充填剤などの添加剤を添加することも可能である。
ンラインで、すなわち物体への溶融体の適用直後に行なう。
Claims (18)
- (a)湿気架橋性ポリウレタン系放射線硬化性溶融体の層を、物体の表面の少なくとも一部分に適用することにより該少なくとも一部分をシールする工程;および
(b)溶融体層に放射線照射する工程
を含む、物体の表面の少なくとも一部分のシーリング方法であって、
当該表面の少なくとも一部分が該物体の外面の1つであり、
当該物体が、ラミネートフローリング材、ウッドブロックフローリング材、パネル用材、ベニア、家具用部材または家具である方法。 - 前記層を、ロール、ドクターブレードもしくはスロットダイを用いて、または吹付けによって適用することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 溶融体層の表面が平滑化されていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 溶融体層が5μm〜200μmの範囲の厚さで適用されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 溶融体層が単層で適用されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 硬化前の溶融体が、少なくとも1つの放射線重合性官能基だけでなくNCO基もまた含有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜4いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 硬化前の溶融体が、アクリル酸誘導体、メタクリル酸誘導体またはスチレン誘導体を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- シールされる物体の表面が、少なくとも部分的に、木材、木材様材料、紙、金属、プラスチックまたは無機物質で構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 放射線照射を、ポリウレタンの湿気架橋による溶融体層の完全な硬化前に行なうことを特徴とする、請求項1〜8いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 放射線照射を、溶融体層の適用後24時間以内に行なうことを特徴とする、請求項1〜9いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 表面上の少なくとも一部分に湿気架橋性ポリウレタン系放射線硬化性溶融体の層を含むシーリング層を有し、当該表面の少なくとも一部分がその物体の外面の1つであり、ラミネートフローリング材、ウッドブロックフローリング材、パネル用材、ベニア、家具用部材または家具である物体。
- 溶融体層が5μm〜200μmの範囲の厚さを有することを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の物体。
- 溶融体層が単層で適用されていることを特徴とする、請求項11または12に記載の物体。
- 硬化前の溶融体が、少なくとも1つの放射線重合性官能基だけでなくNCO基もまた含有することを特徴とする、請求項11〜13いずれか1項に記載の物体。
- 硬化前の溶融体が、アクリル酸誘導体、メタクリル酸誘導体またはスチレン誘導体を含むことを特徴とする、請求項11〜14いずれか1項に記載の物体。
- シールされる物体の表面が、少なくとも部分的に、木材、木材様材料、紙、金属、プラスチックまたは無機物質で構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項11〜15いずれか1項に記載の物体。
- 溶融体層の放射線硬化が、ポリウレタンの湿気架橋による反応性溶融体の完全な硬化前に行なわれたことを特徴とする、請求項11〜16いずれか1項に記載の物体。
- ラミネートフローリング材、ウッドブロックフローリング材、パネル用材、ベニア、家具用部材または家具である物体の表面の少なくとも一部分をシールするために湿気架橋性ポリウレタン系放射線硬化性溶融体を使用する方法。
