Claims (4)
- 複数のレーザ光源と、該レーザ光源からのレーザ光をそれぞれ強度変調する複数の強度変調手段と、強度変調された前記複数のレーザ光源からのレーザ光を各々受けて出射端から射出する複数の第1光導波路とからなる複数のレーザモジュールと、
入射端が、前記第1光導波路の出射端近傍において密接するように束ねられた前記第1光導波路の光射出領域に光学的に接続され、前記各第1光導波路から射出されたレーザ光が入射する単一の第2光導波路とを備え、
前記入射端における前記第2光導波路のコアが、前記光射出領域よりも大きいものであり、
前記第2光導波路が、前記第1光導波路から射出された各レザー光を前記第2光導波路内を光路長差を有して導波するように、該第2光導波路の前記入射端における光軸が前記光射出領域の中心軸とオフセットした位置で、前記束ねられた第1光導波路と接続され、
該オフセット位置での前記光射出領域が、前記第2光導波路の前記入射端でのコア内に位置することを特徴とするレーザ光源装置。 - 前記強度変調手段が、さらに位相制御手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレーザ光源装置。
- 前記第1光導波路が、光ファイバであって、該光ファイバのコア径が60μmであり、
前記第2光導波路が、マルチモード光ファイバであって、該マルチモード光ファイバのコア径が、205μm、230μmのいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のレーザ光源装置。 - 前記第2光導波路が、3m以上となるファイバ長を有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のレーザ光源装置。
