Claims (4)
- 光源と第1光導波路を有し、前記光源からの光が前記第1光導波路の出射端から射出されるレーザモジュールと、
前記第1光導波路に接続され、該第1光導波路の出射端から射出された射出光を入射端から入射させ、導波させる第2光導波路と、
該第2光導波路の近傍に配置され、該第2光導波路にアクチュエータによる振動、物理的なねじり、または引っ張りによる強度変調を加える強度変調手段とを備え、
前記第2光導波路の入射端でのコア径が、前記第1光導波路の出射端でのコア径よりも大きいものであり、
前記第1光導波路が、該第1光導波路の前記出射端での光軸と前記第2光導波路の前記入射端での光軸がオフセットした位置で、前記第2光導波路と接続され、
該オフセット位置での前記第1光導波路の前記出射端のコアが、前記第2光導波路の前記入射端のコア内に位置するとともに、前記第1光導波路の前記出射端でのコア断面積が、前記出射端より光源側の位置でのコア断面積よりも小さいものであることを特徴とするレーザ光源装置。 - 前記第1光導波路が、光ファイバであって、該光ファイバのコア径が33μmであり、
前記第2光導波路が、マルチモード光ファイバであって、該マルチモード光ファイバのコア径が、60μm、205μm、および230μmからなる群から選ばれる一つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレーザ光源装置。 - 前記アクチュエータが、振動モータであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレーザ光源装置。
- 前記アクチュエータが、ピエゾ素子であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレーザ光源装置。
