Claims (2)
- 内輪部材と外輪部材との間に複数のころを介在させるとともに、前記内輪部材と外輪部材とのうち少なくとも一方の部材の軸方向端部に、前記ころの端面をすべり接触で案内する案内面を有する鍔部を設けたころ軸受の製造方法において、
前記ころの前記端面の研磨痕を、特定方向でのみ研磨されるのでなく、研磨方向としてはアトランダムに研磨処理されて前記端面に沿う方向で不規則な無方向性にするものであって、
前記ころの端面の研磨が、支持具で支持された前記ころの端面を該端面を研磨する砥石の研削作用面に対して遠近方向で往復移動できるよう対向させ、前記研削作用面と前記ころの端面とが平行となるこの対向状態が変わらないまま前記支持具を前記遠近方向で移動させて、きわめて短時間前記ころの端面を前記砥石に接触させ、その後ただちに研磨位置から退避させることを数回もしくは十数回繰り返すとともに、その繰り返す研磨ごとにころがころの軸心周りで異なる回転姿勢となるように設定して研磨を行う、ことを特徴とするころ軸受の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載のころ軸受の製造方法において、
前記ころの端面の研磨を該ころを前記砥石に遠近移動させて研磨を上記のように繰り返す工程において、前記ころを一定速度で回転させながら研磨する、又は回転を停止した状態できわめて短時間研磨した後研磨位置から退避し次の研磨時にはころをころの軸心周りで適宜角度回転させてから回転停止した状態で再び短時間研磨することを繰り返す、ことを特徴とするころ軸受の製造方法。
