上記(1)式〜(3)式の何れの反応でも分子数が増大して体積膨張が発生することが分かる。因みに、(3)式の反応により、1モルのジメチルエーテルは3モルの水素と3モルの一酸化炭素とに改質されるが、この改質反応によって発熱量は、ジメチルエーテル1モル当たり58kcal増加し、ジメチルエーテルの発熱量が318kcal/モルであることから約18%の熱量増加になる。
鉄系触媒とは、金属鉄或いは鉄酸化物またはその混合物からなるものであり、鉄酸化物とは酸化第一鉄(FeO)或いは酸化第二鉄(Fe2O3)またはその混合物である。
コバルト系触媒とは、コバルトの金属或いはコバルト酸化物またはその混合物からなるものであり、コバルト酸化物とは酸化第一コバルト(CoO)或いは酸化第二コバルト(Co2O3)またはその混合物である。
パラジウム系触媒とは、アルカリ金属酸化物或いはアルカリ土類金属酸化物或いは希土類元素の酸化物といった塩基性金属酸化物にパラジウムを担持させたものである。
上記の銅系触媒、鉄系触媒或いはコバルト系触媒は、アルミナ、シリカゲル、シリカ・アルミナ、ゼオライトなどの触媒担体に担持させて使用するのが一般的である。

Claims (2)
- 製鉄所の高炉炉頂から排出される高炉ガスから、1段目で二酸化炭素を分離し、2段目で窒素をPSA法で分離する2段分離により前記高炉ガス中の二酸化炭素及び窒素を分離して前記高炉ガスと比較して発熱量を高めた改質高炉ガスを製造する際に、
分離した二酸化炭素を回収し、メタン、エタノール、ジメチルエーテルのなかの何れか1種または2種以上と、前記回収した二酸化炭素とを、製鉄所の排熱を利用して反応させ、当該反応により水素及び一酸化炭素を主成分とする合成ガスを得ることを特徴とする、高炉ガスの利用方法。 - 前記高炉ガス中の二酸化炭素をアミン法で分離することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の高炉ガスの利用方法。
