Description
Claims (1)
- 入力される電気信号に対して分散等化処理をして当該処理後の電気信号を出力する送信用分散等化部と、この分散等化部から出力される電気信号に基づいて光信号を生成して出力する発光部と、を含む送信部と、
入力される光信号に基づいて電気信号を生成して出力する受光部と、この受光部から出力される電気信号に対して分散等化処理をして当該処理後の電気信号を出力する受信用分散等化部と、を含む受信部と、
前記送信用分散等化部および前記受信用分散等化部を制御する制御部と、
を備え、
前記送信用分散等化部および前記受信用分散等化部それぞれが、入力される電気信号に対して遅延を与える縦続接続された複数の遅延部と、これら複数の遅延部それぞれから出力される電気信号の値に対しタップ係数を乗じて当該乗算後の電気信号を出力する複数の乗算部と、これら複数の乗算部それぞれから出力される電気信号の値の総和を求め当該総和値を表す電気信号を出力する総和部と、を含む光トランシーバにおいて、
前記送信用分散等化部のタップ係数および前記受信用分散等化部のタップ係数を調整する方法であって、
前記発光部と前記受光部とを光学的に互いに接続し、前記送信用分散等化部における分散等化処理を停止させ、前記送信部から前記受信部へ光信号が送られている状態で、前記受信用分散等化部のタップ係数を前記制御部により調整させ、
その調整後に、前記受信用分散等化部のタップ係数に基づいて、前記送信用分散等化部のタップ係数を前記制御部により調整させる、
ことを特徴とする光トランシーバ調整方法。
