Claims (7)
- ガラス板を成形可能な温度に加熱する加熱ステップと、
プレス型にカバー材を装着するカバー材装着ステップと、
前記プレス型により前記加熱されたガラス板をプレスするプレス成形ステップとを備えた曲げガラス板の成形方法において、
前記カバー材として、金属繊維の編布からなるカバー材を用い、
前記カバー材装着ステップにおいて、前記カバー材が有するうねりの方向が、前記ガラス板が有する歪みの方向に対して斜めになるように、前記プレス型に前記カバー材を装着することを特徴とする曲げガラス板の成形方法。 - 前記ガラス板はフロート法により製造され、前記ガラス板が有する歪みの方向は前記フロート法におけるガラス素地の流れ方向と同一であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の曲げガラス板の成形方法。
- 前記プレスされたガラス板を前記カバー材を介して吸引してプレス型に吸着させる真空成形ステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の曲げガラス板の成形方法。
- 前記ガラス板が有する歪みの方向に対する前記カバー材が有するうねりの方向の角度は、5〜45°であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の曲げガラス板の成形方法。
- 編目を有するカバー材が装着されたプレス型を用いて加熱成形された車両の窓に用いられる曲げガラス板において、直行ニコル法により観察される前記曲げガラス板の縞模様が、前記曲げガラス板を前記車両の窓に設置したときに前記曲げガラス板の縦方向に対して斜めであることを特徴とする曲げガラス板。
- 前記車両の窓に設置したときの前記曲げガラス板の縦方向又は横方向は、前記曲げガラス板の製造時のガラス素地の流れ方向と同一であることを特徴とする請求項5記載の曲げガラス板。
- 前記曲げガラス板は合わせガラスであることを特徴とする請求項5又は6記載の曲げガラス板。
