Claims (6)
- 負極と正極との間に耐熱層を有する非水系電解質二次電池や極板抵抗が4Ω・cm2以上有する非水系電解質二次電池の内部短絡を検知するための方法であって、
二次電池の瞬時の電圧低下からその復帰を検出し、その間の放電電流の最大値が予め定める閾値以下であると、内部短絡と判定することを特徴とする非水系電解質二次電池の内部短絡検知方法。 - 前記閾値は、二次電池の温度から推測される該二次電池の内部抵抗値および該二次電池の端子電圧から決定されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の非水系電解質二次電池の内部短絡検知方法。
- 前記閾値は、二次電池の温度から推測される該二次電池の内部抵抗値をrとし、前記電圧低下時の予め定める期間における端子電圧の変化量をΔV1とするとき、ΔV1/rに基づいて決定されることを特徴とする請求項2記載の非水系電解質二次電池の内部短絡検知方法。
- 負極と正極との間に耐熱層を有する非水系電解質二次電池や極板抵抗が4Ω・cm2以上有する非水系電解質二次電池の内部短絡を検知するための装置であって、
二次電池の電圧を検出する電圧検出手段と、
放電電流を検出する電流検出手段と、
前記電圧検出手段の検出結果に応答し、二次電池の瞬時の電圧低下からその復帰を検出し、その間に前記電流検出手段で検出されていた放電電流の最大値が予め定める閾値以下であると、内部短絡と判定する判定手段とを含むことを特徴とする非水系電解質二次電池の内部短絡検知装置。 - 前記閾値は、二次電池の温度から推測される該二次電池の内部抵抗値および該二次電池の端子電圧から決定されることを特徴とする請求項4記載の非水系電解質二次電池の内部短絡検知装置。
- 前記閾値は、二次電池の温度から推測される該二次電池の内部抵抗値をrとし、前記電圧低下時の予め定める期間における端子電圧の変化量をΔV1とするとき、ΔV1/rに基づいて決定されることを特徴とする請求項5記載の非水系電解質二次電池の内部短絡検知装置。
