Description
添加剤などの含有率は、マークの印刷方法に応じて、インキ組成物の合計が100質量%となるように上記範囲内から適宜選択することが好ましい。
(1)光輝性
マークが形成されたゴルフボールを目視観察し、以下の評価基準に基づいて、光輝性を評価した。
◎:極めて鮮明な光輝性が認められる。
○:鮮明な光輝性が認められる。
△:光輝性が僅かに認められる。
×:光輝性が認められない。
マークが形成されたゴルフボールを晴天時に芝上において、50m離れたところから徐々にゴルフボールに近づいていき、マークの存在を認識し得た距離(m)を記録する。10名のゴルファーが評価をし、前記距離の平均値を算出して、各ゴルフボールの結果とした。
ツルーテンパー社製スイングロボットにドライバー(1W)を取り付け、ヘッドスピード45m/sでゴルフボールを100回繰返し打撃し、マークの剥離程度を観察し、下記基準に基づいて評価した。
◎:マークに剥離がなかった。
○:マークの剥離面積が1mm2以下
△:マークの剥離面積が1mm2超4mm2未満以下(許容範囲)
×:マークの剥離面積が4mm2超
(1)コアの作製
表1に示す配合のコア用ゴム組成物を混練し、半球状キャビティを有する上下金型内で160℃で13分間加熱プレスすることにより直径39.3mmの球状コアを得た。
アクリル酸亜鉛:日本蒸留工業株式会社製のZNDA−90S
酸化亜鉛:東邦亜鉛社製の銀嶺R
炭酸カルシウム:備北粉化(株)
ジクミルパーオキサイド:日油株式会社製のパークミルD
表2および表3に示した配合の材料を、それぞれ二軸混練型押出機によりミキシングして、ペレット状のカバー用組成物を調製した。押出条件は、スクリュー径45mm、スクリュー回転数200rpm、スクリューL/D=35であり、配合物は、押出機のダイの位置で200〜260℃に加熱された。
ハイミラン1706:三井デュポンポリケミカル(株)製の亜鉛イオン中和エチレン−メタクリル酸共重合体アイオノマー樹脂
ハイミラン1707:三井デュポンポリケミカル(株)製のナトリウムイオン中和エチレン−メタクリル酸共重合体アイオノマー樹脂
上記で得たカバー用組成物を、前述のようにして得たコア上に直接射出成形することによりカバー層を形成し、直径42.7mmを有するツーピースゴルフボール本体を作製した。カバー成形用上下金型は、半球状キャビティを有し、ディンプル付きで、ディンプルの一部が進退可能なホールドピンを兼ねている。上記ホールドピンを突き出し、コアを投入後ホールドさせ、80トンの圧力で型締めした金型に210℃に加熱した樹脂を0.3秒で注入し、30秒間冷却して型開きしてゴルフボールを取り出した。
表4に示したように、マーク用インキ組成物を調製し、これを用いて、ゴルフボール本体表面に幅8mm×高8mm×線幅2mmのマーク「X」をパッド印刷し、続けてウレタン系ペイントをエアガンで塗布して、40℃のオーブンで4時間乾燥してゴルフボールを作製した。得られたゴルフボールのマークについて、光輝性、視認性、耐衝撃性について評価した結果を表4に示す。尚、表4において、インキ組成物配合組成の単位は質量%である。
1)主剤:ウレタンポリオール
60質量部のPTMG250(BASF社製:ポリオキシテトラメチレングリコール、分子量250)と54質量部の550U(住友バイエルウレタン製:分子量550の分岐ポリオール)とを溶剤120質量部(トルエン及びメチルエチルケトン)に溶解し、これにジブチル錫ジラウリレートを主剤全体に対して0.1質量%となるように添加した。このポリオールを80℃に保持しながら、66質量部のイソホロンジイソシアネートを滴下して、ウレタンポリオール(固形分60質量%、水酸基価75mgKOH/g、重量平均分子量7808)を調製した。
2)硬化剤:イソホロンジイソシアネート(住友バイエルウレタン)
3)配合比:硬化剤のNCO/主剤のOH=1.2(モル比)
4)上記2液硬化型ウレタン樹脂成分100質量部に、下記の紫外線吸収剤2質量部、及び、蛍光増白剤0.2質量部を添加して、ウレタン系ペイントを調製した。
紫外線吸収剤:チバ・シペシャルティ・ケミカルズ社製「TINUVIN 900」
蛍光増白剤:チバ・シペシャルティ・ケミカルズ社製「ユビテックスOB」
主剤:ナビタス(株)製二液硬化型「EPH−00メジウム」(エポキシ樹脂、固形分20質量%〜60質量%)
硬化剤:ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート
溶剤:メトキシメチルブチルアセテート50質量%、アセチルアセトン20質量%、プレピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルアセテート6質量%、酢酸エチル4質量%、芳香族混合炭化水素20質量%の混合物
光輝性材料2:BASF(株)製、「Mearlite(登録商標)UPFMT」、ペースト状、オキシ塩化ビスマス(数平均粒子径6μm〜16μm)及び紫外線吸収剤を含む(オキシ塩化ビスマス含量:約35%)
光輝性材料3:MERCK(株)製「Iriodin(登録商標)100」、マイカを酸化チタンで被覆したもの、平均粒子径10μm〜60μm
Claims (2)
- ゴルフボール本体表面上にマークを有するゴルフボールであって、
前記マークが、オキシ塩化ビスマスをコア層とし、水酸化セリウムからなる被覆層を有する光輝性材料と、顔料(光輝性材料を含まない)とを含有するインキ組成物により形成されたものであり、
前記インキ組成物が、前記光輝性材料を1質量%〜25質量%含有するものであることを特徴とするゴルフボール。 - 前記インキ組成物が、さらに、紫外線吸収剤及び/又は光安定剤を含む請求項1に記載のゴルフボール。
