Description

nは2〜10の数であり;
R15は、水素、−COCH=CH2、または−COC(CH3)=CH2であり;
R16およびR17は、互いに独立に、C1〜C8アルキルまたはフェニルであり;
G3およびG4は、互いに独立に、ポリマー構造の末端基、好ましくは水素またはメチルである)のα−ヒドロキシケトン光開始剤を使用できる。
ゲルコート配合物は、スチレン希釈剤を加えて粘度を制御した不飽和ポリエステルオリゴマーからなる。スチレンは、全配合物の重量に基づいて35重量%で存在する。他の成分は、ルチルTiO215重量%、および光開始剤として、ビス(2,4,6−トリメチルベンゾイル)フェニルホスフィン2重量%である。混合物をガラス基板上に引き伸ばし、ガラス状固体状態に硬化させた。LED光源は、狭い範囲の出力380〜400nm、CW電力250mW/cm2を有する。ランプ距離は、サンプルの約12mm上である。フィルム厚さは、約20ミルである。
ビス(2,4,6−トリメチルベンゾイル)フェニルホスフィンを光開始剤として全配合物の重量に基づいて1重量%で含有する不飽和ポリエステル(UPES)樹脂で含浸させて、ガラス繊維入りの複合材料配合物(2層=厚さ55ミル[1.4mm]、8層=厚さ274ミル[7mm])を調製した。390nmを中心とするLED光源を用いて、240mW/cm2で優れた表面硬化および貫通硬化を実現した。
肉厚アクリレートコーティング配合物(10ミル[0.25mm])を、二官能エポキシアクリレート、および光開始剤としてビス(2,4,6−トリメチルベンゾイル)フェニルホスフィンを全配合物の重量に基づいて2重量%で用いて調製した。各配合物に対して390nmを中心とするLED光源を用いて、240mW/cm2で、優れた表面硬化および貫通硬化を実現した。
Claims (8)
- 0.25mmより厚い厚さを有するコーティング、ゲルコートまたは接着層を製造するためにエチレン性不飽和重合性化合物を硬化する方法であって、該化合物に少なくとも1種の式I:
- R 50 が、C2〜C10アルキル、シクロヘキシル、あるいは非置換または1〜4個のC1〜C4アルキル、Cl、もしくはBrで置換されたフェニルである、式Iのビスアシルホスフィンオキシド光開始剤である、請求項1記載の方法。
- ビスアシルホスフィンオキシド光開始剤が、ビス(2,4,6−トリメチルベンゾイル)フェニルホスフィンオキシド(CAS# 162881-26-7)またはビス(2,4,6−トリメチルベンゾイル)−(2,4−ビス−ペンチルオキシフェニル)ホスフィンオキシドである、請求項1記載の方法。
- ビスアシルホスフィンオキシド光開始剤に加えて少なくとも1種のα−ヒドロキシケトン光開始剤を添加することを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- α−ヒドロキシケトン光開始剤が、式III:

R13は、OH、C1〜C16アルコキシ、または−O(CH2CH2O)q−C1〜C6アルキルであり;
R14は、水素、C1〜C18アルキル、C1〜C12ヒドロキシアルキル、C1〜C18アルコキシ、−OCH2CH2−OR15、−CH=CH2、−C(CH3)=CH2であるか、または
nは2〜10の数であり;
R15は、水素、−COCH=CH2、または−COC(CH3)=CH2であり;
R16およびR17は、互いに独立に、C1〜C8アルキル、またはフェニルであり;
G3およびG4は、互いに独立に、ポリマー構造の末端基である)で示される化合物である、請求項4記載の方法。 - α−ヒドロキシケトン光開始剤が、α−ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン、2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−1−フェニルプロパノン、2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−1−(4−イソプロピルフェニル)プロパノン、2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−1−(4−ドデシルフェニル)プロパノン、2−ヒドロキシ−1−{4−[4−(2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−プロピオニル)−ベンジル]−フェニル}−2−メチル−プロパン−1−オン、および2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−1−[(2−ヒドロキシエトキシ)フェニル]プロパノンよりなる群から選択される、請求項4記載の方法。
- 0.25mmより厚く、0.76mmまでの厚さのアクリレートをベースとするコーティング、白色ゲルコートまたは接着層を製造するための、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 発光ダイオード光源の出力が390nm±30nmを中心とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の方法。
