Claims (2)
- 上下高さ寸法および左右長さ寸法に対して前後幅寸法が小さい扁平四角形状に形成された電池ケースを有し、
前記電池ケースの左右側壁のそれぞれは、左右方向の外側へ円弧状に膨出されており、
前記左右側壁の上部には、防爆弁が凹み形成されており、
前記防爆弁は、上方側に中央湾曲部を有する側面視でU字形状の溝であり、該溝により左右側壁には肉薄部が形成されており、
前記左右側壁の上端から前記防爆弁の前記中央湾曲部に至るまでの長さ寸法が、該左右側壁の上下方向の長さ寸法で規定される前記電池ケースの上下高さ寸法の3〜20%となるように設定されており、
前記電池ケース内の電池内圧が異常上昇すると、左右側壁が上下方向の中央部側に対して上下端部側が左右外方に突出するように折れ曲がり、かかる左右側壁の上端部側の左右外方向の折れ曲がりによって前記溝の中央湾曲部に係る肉薄部が引きちぎられて裂け目が形成されることにより、電池内圧が解放されるように構成されていることを特徴とする密閉角形電池。 - 上下高さ寸法および左右長さ寸法に対して前後幅寸法が小さい扁平四角形状に形成された電池ケースを有し、
前記電池ケースの左右側壁のそれぞれは、左右方向の外側へ円弧状に膨出されており、
前記左右側壁の上部には、防爆弁が凹み形成されており、
前記防爆弁は、上方側に中央屈曲部を有する側面視でV字形状の溝であり、該溝により左右側壁には肉薄部が形成されており、
前記左右側壁の上端から前記防爆弁の前記中央屈曲部に至るまでの長さ寸法が、該左右側壁の上下方向の長さ寸法で規定される前記電池ケースの上下高さ寸法の3〜20%となるように設定されており、
前記電池ケース内の電池内圧が異常上昇すると、左右側壁が上下方向の中央部側に対して上下端部側が左右外方に突出するように折れ曲がり、かかる左右側壁の上端部側の左右外方向の折れ曲がりによって前記溝の中央屈曲部に係る肉薄部が引きちぎられて裂け目が形成されることにより、電池内圧が解放されるように構成されていることを特徴とする密閉角形電池。
