尚、図1では、説明の都合上、左側を「基端」、右側を「先端」として説明する。
また、図1では、理解を容易にするため、ガイドワイヤの長さ方向を短縮し、全体的に模式的に図示しているため、全体の寸法は実際とは異なる。
また、親水性コーティング剤5は、この外側表面部311、側面部312、及び内側表面部313にわたって被覆されており、外側表面部311、側面部312、及び内側表面部313に被覆された親水性コーティング剤5の厚さは同じである。
また、親水性高分子を親水性モノマーと疎水性モノマーの共重合体から形成することでも、親水性高分子と疎水性高分子の混合の場合と同じ理由によって、滑り性を持続させることができる。

Claims (4)
- コアシャフトと、
そのコアシャフトの外周に素線を巻回したコイル体と、
そのコイル体の少なくとも一部分を被覆した親水性コーティング剤と
を備えたガイドワイヤであって、
前記親水性コーティング剤は、前記コイル体の少なくとも一部分の素線間に間隙を有するように被覆されていることを特徴とするガイドワイヤ。
- 請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤにおいて、前記素線及び前記親水性コーティング剤が形成する断面の中心は、前記親水性コーティング剤が被覆された素線の断面の中心に対して、外側表面方向に変位していることを特徴とするガイドワイヤ。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のガイドワイヤにおいて、前記素線に被覆された親水性コーティング剤は、側面方向の厚さが外側表面方向の厚さよりも薄いことを特徴とするガイドワイヤ。
- 請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のガイドワイヤにおいて、前記素線に被覆された親水性コーティング剤は、内側表面方向の厚さが側面方向の厚さよりも薄いことを特徴とするガイドワイヤ。
