Description
図1(a)、(b)は本発明の第1実施形態の沈砂分離設備の平面図及び側面図、図2(a)、(b)は上流側の沈砂分離タンクの概略構成を示す平面図及び側断面図、図3は上流側の沈砂分離タンクから下流側の沈砂分離タンクまでの流路の構成を示す模式図である。
が、遠心作用で螺旋流路13の外周側の側壁に衝突し、重力作用により外周壁に沿って降下して行く。また、重力作用で粗粒の砂類Pが沈降し、傾斜底板14を伝って、最終的にスリット14sから下部の集積装置12の中に降下して行く。集積装置12の中に降下して来た砂類Pは、徐々に沈降して行き、槽底に堆積する。集積装置12の槽底には、必要に応じて掻き取り装置18が配備されており、図1に示す砂排出管19を介して、砂類Pは外部に排出される。
この沈砂分離設備によれば、上流側の沈砂分離タンク10と下流側の沈砂分離タンク20で、役割分担しながら効率良く砂類を分離・捕捉することができる。つまり、上流側の沈砂分離タンク10では、高流速の下で、粒度の粗い砂類を分離・捕捉し、下流側の沈砂分離タンク20では、低流速の下で、上流側で捕捉されなかった粒度の細かい砂類を分離・捕捉することができるので、原水中に混在する粗粒物と細粒物を、別々の沈砂分離タンク10、20で効率良く分離・捕捉することができる。従って、設備全体をコンパクトで効率的な構成とすることができる。また、粗粒と細粒に分けて砂類を捕捉するので、集めた砂類を別用途にそのまま提供することができる。

Claims (3)
- 原水の流れ方向の上流側と下流側に2台の沈砂分離タンクが配備され、
各沈砂分離タンクは、上部に、螺旋流路に沿って原水を流すことで遠心作用と重力作用で原水中の砂類を分離する分離装置を有すると共に、下部に、前記分離装置で分離された砂類を沈降・堆積させる集積装置を有しており、
前記上流側の沈砂分離タンクの分離装置は、高流速で前記螺旋流路に原水を流すことで粗粒の砂類を分離するものとして構成され、
前記下流側の沈砂分離タンクの分離装置は、前記上流側の沈砂分離タンクの分離装置よりも低流速で前記螺旋流路に原水を流すことで細粒の砂類を分離するものとして構成されると共に、前記螺旋流路を流れる原水の流速を段階的に落とすように、上下m層(mは2以上の自然数)に分岐した第1螺旋流路と、当該第1螺旋流路の下流側で上下n層(nはmより大きい自然数)に分岐した第2螺旋流路とを少なくとも有し、
前記集積装置は、各流速毎に分離される砂類を分けて集積できるように、前記第1螺旋流路で分離した砂類を集積する第1分級室と、前記第2螺旋流路で分離した砂類を集積する第2分級室とを少なくとも有し、
前記上流側の沈砂分離タンクの原水流入部に原水供給管が接続され、前記上流側の沈砂分離タンクの原水流出部と前記下流側の沈砂分離タンクの原水流入部とが連通管で相互接続され、前記下流側の沈砂分離タンクの原水流出部に原水排出管が接続されていることを特徴とする沈砂分離設備。 - 前記下流側の沈砂分離タンクに凝集剤を添加することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の沈砂分離設備。
- 前記上流側の沈砂分離タンクの原水流入部が、前記螺旋流路の螺旋中心に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の沈砂分離設備。
