Claims (2)
- 電力用半導体素子を含む発熱部品を有する電源部と、
前記発熱部品を冷却するファンとを、
具備し、予め定められた通電時間にわたって前記電源部が通電される通電状態と、予め定められた休止時間にわたって前記電源部が非通電とされる休止状態とが、繰り返され、前記通電状態において前記ファンが駆動される電源装置において、
前記発熱部品の温度を測定し、その温度を表す温度測定信号を生成する温度測定手段と、
前記休止状態の開始時点の前記温度測定信号と、前記休止状態の終了時の予定温度信号と、前記休止時間とに基づいて、前記休止状態開始時の温度測定信号から前記予定温度信号まで前記休止時間の間に減少する基準値を生成する基準値生成手段と、
前記基準値に前記温度測定信号がほぼ一致するように前記ファンの回転数を制御する制御手段とを、
具備し、前記予定温度信号は、前記休止状態の開始時点の前記温度測定信号よりも小さく、その差が表す温度差が繰り返し前記電力用半導体素子に生じても、前記電力用半導体素子の寿命を短くせず、前記予定温度信号が表す温度は前記電力用半導体素子の周囲にある部品が熱ストレスを許容できる温度である電源装置。 - 請求項1記載の電源装置において、前記ファンは、前記通電状態の間、定格回転数またはそれよりも低い回転数で回転させられる電源装置。
