Claims (3)
- 4つの側面を有するとともに、前記4つの側面のうちの所定の側面が光入射面として機能する導光板と、
前記導光板の光入射面に沿って延びる第1実装領域を少なくとも有する実装基板と、
前記実装基板の第1実装領域に実装され、前記実装基板の第1実装領域が延びる方向に沿って互いに所定の間隔を隔てて配列された複数の点状光源とを備え、
前記実装基板の第1実装領域の一方側の端部には、前記複数の点状光源を駆動する電力が供給される電力供給領域が設けられているとともに、前記実装基板の第1実装領域の一方側とは反対の他方側の端部には、前記導光板の光入射面に対して垂直な側面に沿って延びる第2実装領域が設けられており、
前記実装基板の第2実装領域には、前記点状光源以外の電子部品が実装されることを特徴とするバックライトユニット。 - 前記点状光源以外の電子部品は、静電気対策用の電子部品を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記導光板を保持するためのケース部材をさらに備え、
前記ケース部材は、前記導光板の側面に沿って配置された側部を有しており、
前記ケース部材の側部には、前記点状光源以外の電子部品と前記ケース部材の側部との接触を回避するための逃げ部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
