Description
例えば定格電力150Wの高圧放電ランプは、石英ガラスなどの耐熱透光性材料でなる発光管1の発光部2が、内容積約0.08ml、最大外径10mm、最大内径4.8mmの球状をなすように形成されて、その発光部2の両側を気密封止するシール部3、3に、全長約7mmの電極5と、長さ約20mmのモリブデン箔6と、線径約0.6mmのモリブデン線でなる外部リード7とを溶接して一体的に組立てた電極アセンブリ4がそれぞれ封着されている。

Claims (2)
- 発光管の発光部内に、一対の電極が互いに対向して配置されると共に、少なくとも水銀と希ガスが封入された高圧放電ランプにおいて、前記電極として、Al,Ca,Cr,Cu,Fe,Mg,Mn,Ni,Si,Sn,Na,K,Mo,U,Thの総含有量が10ppm以下で、且つチタン(Ti)の含有量が0.08ppm以下の高純度タングステンでなるタングステン電極が用いられていることを特徴とする高圧放電ランプ。
- 発光管の発光部内に、一対の電極が互いに対向して配置されると共に、少なくとも水銀と希ガスが封入された高圧放電ランプにおいて、前記電極として、タングステン表面のチタン乃至チタン化合物を除去するチタン除去処理を施したタングステン電極が用いられていることを特徴とする高圧放電ランプ。
