Claims (6)
- 水銀の充填物と希ガスとを気密に含む放電空間を取り囲む放電管を備える低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプであって、
前記放電管は、前記放電空間と連絡するアマルガムを含み、
当該低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプは、前記放電管内の電気放電を維持するための放電手段を含み、
前記アマルガムは、30≦Bi≦70重量%の範囲内のビスマス含有量と、25≦Sn≦67重量%の範囲内のスズ含有量と、3≦In≦5重量%の範囲内のインジウム含有量とを有するビスマス−スズ−インジウム化合物を含むことを特徴とする、
低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプ。 - 前記インジウム含有量は、3≦In≦4重量%の範囲内にあることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプ。
- 前記インジウム含有量は、3≦In≦3.5重量%の範囲内にあることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプ。
- 前記アマルガムは、97.5≦Bi−Sn−In≦99.5重量%の範囲内のビスマス−スズ−インジウム化合物と、0.5≦Hg≦2.5重量%の範囲内の水銀とを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1、2、又は、3に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプ。
- 前記アマルガムは、99≦Bi−Sn−In≦99.5重量%の範囲内のビスマス−スズ−インジウム化合物と、0.5≦Hg≦1重量%の範囲内の水銀とを含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の低圧水銀蒸気放電ランプ。
- 請求項1乃至3に記載の組成を有するビスマス−スズ−インジウム化合物を含むアマルガム。
