Description
Claims (12)
- 軸およびヘッドに沿って延びる管状の骨組み(24)を備える管腔内部人工器官(2)であって、該軸が該骨組みの軸と一致しており、該ヘッドは動脈瘤嚢(20)に挿入することができるようになっており、収縮状態から拡張状態へ半径方向に拡張可能な管状の骨組み(24)を備える管腔内部人工器官(2)において、一端から他端まで多層に編組された1つの一体構造で構成された前記骨組みおよびヘッドは、前記拡張状態において、前記管状の骨組み(24)の一端に設けられた少なくとも1つのレンズ状ヘッド(6)を備えており、前記ヘッドは、動脈瘤のくびれ(22)と動脈瘤壁を有する動脈瘤嚢(20)に挿入されたときに、動脈瘤壁を穿刺するリスクを回避するために、近位側のレンズ状ヘッド(7)の近位側のみが動脈瘤嚢のくびれ(22)の上に置かれ、レンズ状ヘッドが動脈瘤壁を圧迫しないように設計されていることを特徴とする、管腔内部人工器官。
- 最端部の前記レンズ状ヘッド(6)がリング(10)によって丸くされていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の管腔内部人工器官。
- 最端部の前記レンズ状ヘッド(6)の自由端が前記ヘッド内に後退されることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の管腔内部人工器官。
- 前記骨組み(24)が生体適合性合金で作られることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の管腔内部人工器官。
- 前記合金が、ニッケル/チタン合金またはコバルト/クロム/ニッケル合金から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の管腔内部人工器官。
- 1つの実質的に管状で網状の骨組み(24)を生体適合性合金のフィラメントを多層に編組することによって形成する工程と、
前記実質的に管状の骨組みの一端において少なくとも1つのレンズ状ヘッドを形成するために、機械的に応力を加えることによって前記骨組み(24)を成形する工程と、
前記骨組み(24)に熱処理を施して構造を安定化させる工程と、
最端部の前記レンズ状ヘッド(6)の開放遠位端を封止する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の管腔内部人工器官の製造方法。 - 前記成形が、
少なくとも1つの直径リミッタ(28)を前記骨組み(24)の上に滑らせて、前記実質的に管状の骨組みの一端において少なくとも1つのソーセージ形状の区画(30)を形成する工程と、
前記ソーセージ形状の区画(30)を前記直径リミッタ(28)に向けて圧縮して、前記少なくとも1つのレンズ状ヘッド(6)を形成する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記熱処理が、相転移を生じさせて、拡張した形状を記憶させることを特徴とする、請求項6または7に記載の方法。
- 前記熱処理の後に、前記直径リミッタが前記骨組み(24)から除去されることを特徴とする、請求項6から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記骨組み(24)が、マンドレルの周りでフィラメント(8)を編組することによって形成されることを特徴とする、請求項6から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記封止は、前記開放遠位端がリング(10)によって丸くされることによって達成されることを特徴とする、請求項6から10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記封止が、前記フィラメント(8)を前記最端部のレンズ状ヘッド(6)の内部に折り返すことによって達成されることを特徴とする、請求項6から10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
