図2に示す圧縮成形装置20は、フランジ成形部21a、21bを含むキャビティ21を有する雌型(金型)22と、雄型であるコア型23の組合せからなり、プランジャー24がキャビティ21の中心部を上下動自在に貫通するように設けられている。コア型23は、目的とする成形品であるスパウトの内径に相当する外径とスパウトの内部深さに相当する高さを有する円柱型部25と、その頂部に下端が平坦型面6となっている直径がスパウトの外径に等しいロッド部27から構成され、図示してないシリンダ装置により上下駆動される。

筒状部内径 9mm
筒状部外径 11mm
高さ 49mm
底部から第1フランジ下面までの高さ 24mm
底部から第2フランジ下面までの高さ 29.5mm
第1フランジ外寸 20×14mm
第1フランジ肉厚 1.5mm

溶融樹脂塊:
主樹脂塊
材質 主樹脂(ポリプロピレン)+ガスバリヤ性中間樹脂(エチレンビニルア
ルコール共重合)

被覆樹脂塊
材質 被覆樹脂(ポリプロピレン)
寸法 高さ24mm、 重量1.3g
なお、溶融樹脂塊の高さは、自重及び落下時の衝撃により変化するので、押出成形時の目標値(設計値)である。
実施例と同形状同寸法のスパウトを同じ材料の主樹脂塊、及び被覆樹脂塊を用いて、実施例と同じ圧縮成形装置を用いて2段フランジ付きのスパウトを成形した。ただし、その場合は主樹脂塊、及び被覆樹脂塊の寸法・重量を次のように変えた。

被覆樹脂塊
寸法 高さ10mm、 重量0・5g
したがって、その場合は主樹脂塊及び被覆樹脂塊を金型内にセットした状態では、図3に示すように主樹脂塊30の頂部はフランジ成形部21bよりも上方に位置している。この状態でコア型23を下降させて圧縮成形を行なった。このようにして得られた10本のスパウトについて実施例と同様にして顕微鏡で観察したところ、図3に示すように、第1フランジ及び第2フランジ部にも中間樹脂層が多く入りこんでおり、フランジ起点近傍で中間樹脂層の乱れがあり、極端に薄い部分と厚い部分が存在していることが観察された。なお、図2は比較例の場合の成形工程における各層の変化を模式的に示したものであり、成形装置は実施例と同じであるので、同一付号を付してある。
Claims (2)
- 中間樹脂層を含む多層の樹脂からなる主樹脂塊と被覆樹脂塊を一体に圧縮成形することにより得られる筒状部の外周面にフランジを有した筒状の多層樹脂成形物であって、該筒状の多層樹脂成形物は容器用スパウトであり、少なくとも前記中間樹脂層と該中間樹脂層の両面を被覆する他の樹脂層から成る主樹脂層及び被覆樹脂層を有し、前記中間樹脂層はガスバリアー性樹脂層及び又は酸素吸収性樹脂層で形成され、少なくとも前記フランジの起点部を超えて前記筒状部に沿って延びて該筒状部に位置し、前記フランジは前記主樹脂層以外の被覆樹脂層で形成され、該フランジ部には前記中間樹脂層が入り込んでないことを特徴とする多層樹脂成形物。
- 少なくとも中間樹脂層と該中間樹脂層の両面を被覆する他の樹脂層を有し、圧縮成形で一体成形により得られる筒状部の外周面にフランジを有する筒状の多層樹脂成形物の成形方法であって、該筒状の多層樹脂成形物は容器用スパウトであり、前記中間樹脂層を含む多層の樹脂からなる主樹脂塊をその上端が成形型のフランジ形成部の起点部近傍に位置するように供給し、次いで被覆樹脂塊を供給する樹脂塊供給工程、前記主樹脂塊と前記被覆樹脂塊を一体に圧縮成形する圧縮成形工程からなり、前記圧縮成形工程は、コア型により前記被覆樹脂塊を前記主樹脂塊の筒状内層に沿って流動するように圧縮することにより、主樹脂層内面を前記被覆樹脂で被覆すると共に、前記被覆樹脂をフランジ成形部に流動させてフランジ成形部に充填させ、前記フランジを被覆樹脂で形成することを特徴とする多層樹脂成形物の製造方法。
