Description
以下の成分を有する摂取可能な組成物の前駆物質(お茶の濃縮物)を作製した。
実施例1に記載のものと類似のインスタントの紅茶の摂取可能な組成物を、カテキンを添加せずに57日間35℃で保存した対照前駆物質と共に、57日間35℃で保存した前駆物質より作製した。予期せずに、本発明の摂取可能な組成物の前駆物質から得られたインスタントの紅茶の摂取可能な組成物は70未満のハンターヘイズ値(Hunter Haze Value)を有し、一方で対照前駆物質から得られたインスタントの紅茶の摂取可能な組成物は、いずれも80を超えるハンターヘイズ値(Hunter Haze Value)を有した(市販には不適格)。結果は、本明細書に記載のポリフェノール混合物が、予期せずに、消費者により受け入れられる外観を有する摂取可能な組成物を生じる安定な前駆物質を生じさせることを示す。
インスタントの紅茶の摂取可能な組成物を、実施例1に記載のものと類似の前駆物質を使用して作製した。対照のインスタントの紅茶の摂取可能な組成物を、カテキンを添加せずに実施例1に記載のものと類似の前駆物質を使用して作製した。カテキンを添加した前駆物質は本発明のインスタントの紅茶の摂取可能な組成物を作製する前に約6ヶ月間おいた。対照は1ヶ月たっていない前駆物質質を使用して作製した。
Claims (5)
- 以下の工程:
(a)摂取可能な組成物の前駆物質と緑茶又は茶葉から単離されたカテキンとを組み合わせて、カテキン添加物を含む摂取可能な組成物の前駆物質を製造する工程;及び
(b)前記カテキン添加物を含む摂取可能な組成物の前駆物質と液体とを組み合わせて、摂取可能な組成物を製造する工程
を含み、前記カテキン添加物を含む摂取可能な組成物の前駆物質が少なくとも50.0重量%でテアフラビン及びテアルビジンを含むポリフェノール混合物を含有する、摂取可能な組成物の製造方法。 - 前記ポリフェノール混合物が、5.0重量%から30.0重量%のカテキンを含む、請求項1に記載の摂取可能な組成物の製造方法。
- 前記摂取可能な組成物の前駆物質が紅茶濃縮物である、請求項1又は2に記載の摂取可能な組成物の製造方法。
- 前記摂取可能な組成物がインスタントの紅茶組成物である、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の摂取可能な組成物の製造方法。
- 前記インスタントの紅茶組成物が、35℃で57日間保存した後に70未満のハンターヘイズ値を有する、請求項4に記載の摂取可能な組成物の製造方法。
