Claims (5)
- 燃料源を水と反応させて水素ガスを抽出するリフォーマと、
前記リフォーマを水素抽出反応に適した温度に加熱するバーナと、
前記リフォーマにおける水素抽出反応中に生成した一酸化炭素を除去するCOシフト器と、
前記リフォーマで熱を吸熱して前記COシフト器で放熱するための熱交換媒体の移動ラインと、
を備え、
前記移動ラインは、前記COシフト器内でコイル形状に巻取られて形成されており、
前記移動ラインの出口側と前記COシフト器の出口側とにそれぞれ開閉用弁が設置され、
当該2つの弁が開放と閉鎖とを交互に行い、
前記バーナに過熱された前記リフォーマの温度が100℃に到達した際に、前記COシフト器の出口側の弁が閉じ、
前記移動ラインを通じた熱交換によって前記COシフト器の温度が100℃まで上昇した際に、前記COシフト器の前記出口側の弁が開くことを特徴とする、燃料改質器。 - 前記熱交換媒体は、前記リフォーマに供給される水であり、
前記移動ラインは、前記リフォーマの水素移送ラインから分岐して前記COシフト器の内部を経由することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の燃料改質器。 - 前記COシフト器と共に一酸化炭素を除去するCO除去器をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の燃料改質器。
- バーナによって加熱されるリフォーマにおいて燃料源と水とを反応させてスタックに供給する水素を抽出し、COシフト器でその水素抽出過程中に生成した一酸化炭素成分を除去する燃料改質器の運用方法において、
前記リフォーマにおいて熱を吸熱して前記COシフト器において放熱するための熱交換媒体の移動ラインを設けるステップと、
初期スタートモード時に、前記バーナにおいて前記リフォーマを加熱して、当該リフォーマが100℃に到達した際に、前記COシフト器の出口側の弁を閉じ、前記移動ラインの出口側の弁を開放した状態で、前記リフォーマに水を供給するステップと、
前記移動ラインを通じた熱交換によって、前記COシフト器の温度が100℃まで上昇した際に、前記COシフト器の前記出口側の弁を開き、前記移動ラインの前記出口側の弁を閉じた状態で、前記リフォーマに水と共に燃料源を供給して、正常作業モードに転換するステップと、
を含み、
前記移動ラインは、前記COシフト器内でコイル形状に巻取られて形成されていることを特徴とする、燃料改質器の運用方法。 - 請求項1に記載の燃料改質器を採用した燃料電池システム。
