Description
冷却剤導入部分および冷却剤排出部分が、前記バッテリーパックの同じ側に位置し、前記冷却剤導入部分および前記冷却剤排出部分のそれぞれが、その内部で、複数の冷却剤通路に分割されており、その冷却剤導入部分を通過した冷却剤が、バッテリーモジュールのそれぞれに案内されて前記バッテリーモジュールを冷却し、続いて、前記冷却剤排出部分を経由して排出される冷却装置を提供することにより、達成することができる。

Claims (8)
- バッテリーパック用冷却装置であって、
冷却剤導入部分および冷却剤排出部分が、前記バッテリーパックの同じ側に位置し、
前記冷却剤導入部分および前記冷却剤排出部分のそれぞれが、その内部で、複数の冷却剤通路に分割されており、
前記冷却剤導入部分を通過した冷却剤が、バッテリーモジュールのそれぞれに案内されて前記バッテリーモジュールを冷却し、続いて、前記冷却剤排出部分を経由して排出されてなり、
前記冷却剤導入部分が内部に複数の仕切を備えてなり、前記仕切が、前記バッテリーモジュールのそれぞれを、隣接する他のバッテリーモジュールから分離するように作用し、
前記冷却剤が、それぞれの前記バッテリーモジュール中に導入されバッテリーモジュールを通って循環する間に、前記バッテリーモジュールを冷却し、続いて、それぞれの前記バッテリーモジュールから排出されてなり、
前記仕切が、冷却剤導入部分に形成された入口または該入口に近い所から伸びてなるものである、冷却装置。 - 前記バッテリーモジュールのそれぞれが複数の電池セルからなり、
前記電池セルが、リチウムイオン二次電池、リチウムイオン重合体二次電池、またはニッケル金属ハイブリッド電池である、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。 - 前記冷却剤が空気である、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記仕切が、前記冷却剤排出部分にも設けられてなる、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記冷却剤導入部分および前記冷却剤排出部分の両方が、冷却剤案内部材中に設けられてなり、
前記冷却剤案内部材が、前記バッテリーパックの上側または下側に配置されてなる、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。 - 前記冷却剤案内部材が、前記バッテリーパックの上側に配置されてなり、
前記冷却剤導入部分に形成された入口を通過した前記冷却剤が、先ず、前記バッテリーパックの第一側壁の方向に移動し、前記第一側壁に沿って下方に移動し、次いで、前記隣接する電池セル間に設けられた隙間を通過することにより、前記バッテリーパックの、前記第一側壁と反対側の第二側壁に向かって移動し、前記第二側壁に沿って上方に移動し、最後に、前記冷却剤排出部分に形成された出口を経由して排出されるように、前記冷却剤通路が配置されてなる、請求項5に記載の冷却装置。 - 前記冷却装置が、電気自動車またはハイブリッド電気自動車の動力源として作用するバッテリー装置中に使用される、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記冷却装置が、ハイブリッド電気自動車の動力源として作用するバッテリー装置中に使用される、請求項7に記載の冷却装置。
